HEN1 announces free agency

The 26-year-old AWPer has cut ties with 00NATION and is free to join another team.

Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles is now a free agent, the Brazilian player has announced on his Twitter. He leaves 00NATION after he got benched in the team alongside his twin brother, Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles, in October, just a few weeks into the team's tenure under the Norwegian organization.

He had been linked with the team formerly known as O PLANO for close to a year, having left FURIA in a controversial move in January in order to join up with the former MIBR core and reunite with his brother.

HEN1 parts ways with 00Nation after just three months under the banner

The lineup didn't go official until May, and since then they have largely disappointed to live up to expectations while they split their time between Europe and North America, with their best placing being a runners-up finish to Extra Salt at DreamHack Open June NA.

HEN1 becomes free to join another team at a time when FURIA are on the lookout for a dedicated AWPer. A reunion between the 26-year-old and his former team seems unlikely, however, as a report from ge from late November links paiN's Rafael "⁠saffee⁠" Costa with a potential move up to the Andrei "⁠arT⁠" Piovezan-led team.

Nop, he is a tier 1 awper. Furia just get tier 1 (top 3 ~ 5) because of him. He is insane and I would say that he is better than osee and saffee.

If FURIA manages to get saffee, I think that's also great. It would honestly just be a shame if HEN1 ended up ruining his entire career by only playing in tier 4-3 BR teams from now on with his brother. :/

In that way obviously not but it would be a shame to his career in a sense that one of the best Brazilian AWPers just wasted his prime on some random SA team(s) that achieved nothing. Obviously there is nothing wrong with this and I hope he is satisfied with whatever comes next for him.

We need to give saffee a chance. He can be the next brazilian superstar imo. Have good stats against tier 1 while playing with a team thats far from his level. He is a perfect fit for furia and him joining would improve significantly every single aspect of the team. We already know what hen1 is capable of, and is pretty good, but i dont think he can truly get better and we dont really know if he is fit for playing against tier 1 again.

saffee would also be a great option, no doubt about that. He is an absolute monster and would definitely deserve this chance to go to FURIA. HEN1 would just be a safe choice since he is LAN proven and has been performing very well for quite some time now. In the end no matter what they choose to do, I think the end result will be good either way. :)

It's a report about a tier 1 awper getting free agent.

Hmm, Now he goes back grabs his brother LUCAS1 and 3 players from the BR scene, and goes back to stealing paycheck again from another organization and then they disband after 4-6+ months and the same recycling thing happens again. Young talents from Brazil need a chance to play in the professional scene unfortunately it doesn't work like this. Players like HEN1 and others who played in tier1 cs keep getting recycled in other organizations. Soon like in less than 2 weeks LUCAS1 will be a free agent. 😅

Not being a hater man. Cold has been an average player at best in the last year. Lucas1 is not a tier 2 player. Boltz is not bad, but he plays in a top 50 team at the moment. Fallen can be decent If he decides to stop awping. Honestly, hen1 is the only good player in this team, assuming he still plays as good as he did in furia. All this players are waaay past their primes, this isn't 2017 anymore.

Cold has not been an average player, you can't consider his horrible time in complexity, because his teammates and coach were horrible. In faze he was still a beast with 1.15 rating, if he gets in a good team where he can be the star rifler, he will drop some good frags

Fallen = horrible awper for tier 1 right now, but he probably one of the best support of the world nowadays and a great IGL too

i don't know how to judge the quality of an IGL, the only viable way would be playing with him and judging by yourself. since this is not really possible, I'm not sure about his igling skills, but he can be a great support definitely.

yeah, and since fallen would already be a support, i don't see another role where his lack of skill could be less significant. I really would like to see them being a good team and all, but imo it simply wont happen, i hope im wrong tho.

Yeah but if you look at Kjarbye's perspective he saw that Astralis isn't ready for the year of 2018, especially exiting the Major early with dev1ce coming from an injury etc. Hen1 which I was so happy for him that he made HLTV top20 in 2020, had great Team results and elevated Furia to the next level and potentially for a better year going forward. What he decides is joining his brother with a squad who had no big future going forward which at max could upset some local NA powerhouses and T2 Eu teams Therefore worser decision I think
