BIG Academy undergo core changes ahead of WePlay League kick-off
Only two members from the 2021 BIG Academy have remained as the new team is set to kick off the campaign in WePlay Academy League S3.
BIG Academy have undergone core changes heading into 2022, the German organization has announced. Nico "Aqua" Kembitzky and David "prosus" Hesse are the only players to keep their spot from the previous roster, as Alexander "glaVed" Pletz, Luca "pr1metapz" Voigt, and Niklas "NIKZEj" Burmeister have exited the team.
Karim "Krimbo" Moussa is making his return to the organization, having represented BIG Academy in one of their earlier iterations before making a move to ALTERNATE aTTaX in 2021.

Rounding out the team are Elias "s1n" Stein and Marcel "hyped" Köhn, who have been making the rounds in local and regional competitions over the past year, coming from NLG and SSP, respectively.
The organization has also signed a new coach in Markus "Anhuin" Paeseler, a former in-game leader of the academy division and ex-teammate of prosus and Krimbo.
With the new roster, BIG Academy will look to improve their track record in the WePlay Academy League after placing fourth in both of the previous seasons. Season 3 kicks off on January 3, with the German side placed in Group A and facing an entirely new iteration of NAVI Junior in the opening match of the round robin.
BIG Academy now boast the following squad:
Nico "Aqua" Kembitzky
David "prosus" Hesse
Marcel "hyped" Köhn
Elias "s1n" Stein
Karim "Krimbo" Moussa
Markus "Anhuin" Paeseler (coach)
