jkaem reunites with Apeks
After a year apart, Apeks and Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad find a way back to each other as the Norwegian becomes the third member of their new lineup.
Apeks have announced that they have signed former EXTREMUM member jkaem to their lineup. The 27-year-old joins Asger "AcilioN" Larsen and Tim "nawwk" Jonasson under the Norwegian organization, becoming the third player of their brand new roster.
jkaem is no stranger to Apeks. He previously represented the organization for a brief period in late 2020, linking up with the Norwegian side following his departure from 100 Thieves, who decided to step away from CS:GO amid the coronavirus pandemic.

His time with the Norwegian side was cut short after he got the chance to once again team up with the core of the Australian squad in EXTREMUM in early 2021. It was a reunion that yielded little success, as Aaron "AZR" Ward and company remained outside of the top 30 for the majority of their time together and failed to qualify for the Major, resulting in the entire team being placed on the bench.
jkaem now finds his way back to Apeks a year after he left, at a time when the organization decided to rebuild the roster and parted ways with Fredrik "FREDDyFROG" Gustafsson, Joakim "Relaxa" Gustafsson, and Dennis "dennis" Edman. Only AcilioN remained from the late-2020 squad, and he was recently joined by former NIP AWPer nawwk.
"We are building a team in which we have high expectations and with that, we need players who are committed and want to do the work," Apeks' CEO, Denise Anfinnsen, said. "Joakim is one of those players. Our goals for the main CS:GO roster this year are to get into the top 20 and stabilize there. We have put together a hard-working and hungry roster so I am excited to see how far we can come in a short amount of time."
Apeks have:
Asger "AcilioN" Larsen
Tim "nawwk" Jonasson
Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad
Pål "Polly" Kammen (coach)
