djL to join NIP coaching staff
The Swedish organization picked up the former Copenhagen Flames and GamerLegion tactician ahead of the 2022 season.
Ninjas in Pyjamas's COO Jonas "calc" Gundersen confirmed that Ninjas in Pyjamas will be adding Daniel "djL" Narancic to their coaching staff on Saturday. The short Twitter announcement came as a response to Dexerto's report linking the 27-year-old Swede to the Head Coach position.
"It's true that djL is joining our coaching staff," calc wrote, leaving the exact role of the coach vague. "Just wait for the announcement, and the full picture will be given - we are all still on player break."

Ninjas in Pyjamas have been on the lookout for a Head Coach since Björn "THREAT" Pers transition to the role of Technical Director in December, with the team's COO standing behind the team to fill in the gap at the last event of 2021, the BLAST Premier World Final.
As a player, djL is know for his escapades in the Swedish sub-top, often playing alongside twins Joakim "Relaxa" Gustafsson and Fredrik "FREDDyFROG" Gustafsson in teams such as Japaleno, Red Reserve, and Chaos. He had an international foray with Epsilon in 2018, playing alongside Benjamin "blameF" Bremer, but slowly transitioned into coaching in 2019.
He worked with Hampus "hampus" Poser's GamerLegion, as well as c0ntact, Copenhagen Flames, and Apeks either as an assistant or main coach before getting the call up to the best Swedish team, Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Ninjas in Pyjamas are now:
Fredrik "REZ" Sterner
Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora
Hampus "hampus" Poser
Nicolai "device" Reedtz
Patrick "es3tag" Hansen
Daniel "djL" Narancic (coaching staff)
