MAD Lions sign MICHU
The Pole is back on a European team since leaving for Envy in early 2020.
MAD Lions have announced that they are bringing on Michał "MICHU" Müller to cover one of the two open spots on the roster that were left vacant when star AWPer Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk and rifler Pere "sausol" Solsona Saumell were moved to the bench.
The Polish rifler will mark his return to a European lineup after spending nearly two years in North American teams, first with Envy — who also had a European core at times — in 2020 and then with Evil Geniuses in 2021.
MICHU will therefore join up with Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk, Johannes "b0RUP" Borup and Justinas "jL" Lekavicius as the international squad will try to better their peak 21st place in the world ranking, which they achieved with the previous roster in the final quarter of 2021.
The 25-year-old, who boasts a 1.08 career average rating, will be looking to bounce back from his time in Evil Geniuses, where roster instability and poor results by the team affected his individual performances as he tallied a 0.99 rating during his time there, a career-first dating all the way back to his emergence as a teenager in the mid 2010s.
MAD Lions are now:
