Sprout to attend ESL Pro League Season 15

Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg's troops round out the list of teams competing at the event.

ESL have announced Sprout's qualification to ESL Pro League Season 15. The European squad will take Extra Salt's place at the event after the North American organization transferred its active lineup to Complexity, with the competition set to take place between March 9-April 10.

The European squad had placed in fourth place at EPL Season 15 Conference, barely missing out on the automatic qualification spots reserved for the top three.

Sprout have qualified to another EPL season

The team list for the event includes the 14 organizations partnered with ESL under the Louvre Agreement, as well as four teams invited by the organizer based on their world rankings.

Six additional teams will join the rumble, half of which have qualified through ESEA Premier Season 38 and the other half coming from the recently established ESL Conference.

EPL 15 is currently planned to take place in the island country of Malta, but uncertainties over the going COVID-19 pandemic could result in the tournament being moved online.

The updated team list for ESL Pro League Season 15 looks as follows:

Alright, I overreacted, if they are lucky they might have a chance to finish the group with a 1-4 score if they get party austronauts or LFO in their group. I like extra salt (complexity) though. They showed quite good performance on funspark, Floppy and fang were popping off, JT managed to get some frags playing with high ping from NA.

since EPL has a big Franchise part in it, it makes sense. The org "owning" of spots nearly ended everywhere since Valve quit those politics. With RMR it is still bound somehow on players but all that matters are the points. That can belong to a specific team but not to some individual players.

The 14 (soon to 15) Louvre Agreement spots belong to the orgs, but the rest of them belong to the core I believe. That's why ES couldn't just hold on to the spot that thier old roster qualified for, and use it for their new one

im confused? The majority of the team that lost to GODSENT and Extra Salt is still part of Sprout. Which team is supposed to get the spot instead in your opinion based on the players?

"The team list for the event includes the 14 organizations partnered with ESL under the Louvre Agreement, as well as four teams invited by the organizer based on their world rankings" Are those teams confirmed? I only ask because Entropiq have also been confirmed for ECL Season 40, which would seem weird given other teams like AGO and Movistar are competing in this and not that
