According to sources, around €600,000 has been offered to fnatic for their teenage star.

Ninjas in Pyjamas is looking to upgrade their roster after a 7-8th place finish at IEM Katowice and ahead of the start of the PGL Major Antwerp qualification cycle, sources tell HLTV.org. The organization has lined up a bid of about €600,000 for Ludvig "⁠Brollan⁠" Brolin, one of Sweden's shining stars.

As a result of the offer, Brollan will not be playing with fnatic in the first Europe RMR open qualifier, which kicks off today. The "Black and Orange" will field academy player Peppe "⁠Peppzor⁠" Borak alongside Iulian "⁠regali⁠" Harjău as they start their path towards Antwerp.

Brollan could be making a switch to NIP

With the signing of Brollan, Ninjas in Pyjamas would secure a much-needed star-power upgrade, alleviating the load put on in-game leader Hampus "⁠hampus⁠" Poser, especially in the absence of blockbuster signing Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz. The four-time Major winner has been out of action since December, with academy member Love "⁠phzy⁠" Smidebrant filling in for the meantime.

It really depends where NIP want to take this. A national rooster again which would mean losing in the awp fight. Or the best swedish speaking and mostly swedish rooster that is possible to get thropies. Which would result in either es3tag, plopski or REZ being benched. Role wise and potential wise it would mean -plopski bringing in more T power with Brollan. On a side note: These are exciting times, I believed in the new NIP project when they took rise with the new rooster REZ,Nawk,Hampus,plopski,ZTR. About the same time device saw the potential as well. Am interested to see much like I believed in the old Astralis trio from dignitas onwards and later the signing of gla1ve. I never believed in Karrigan much apart from being a upgrade over FeTish and bringing the Trio to the next level at that point in time. To me the way the NIP project is heading it could be one of those types of rooster. although it probably wont come close to the Astralis Legacy. They dont need to be. just winning thropies and a major. being #1 in the world or at the very least competing over the #1 spot.

Cutting es3tag wouldn't mean aiming towards a national roster. Rather aiming toward being able to have a swedish speaking roster. Since Dev1ce speaks perfect swedish from dating Emilia Hult for a few years. But with es3tag on the team they have to default to english. Messing up calls built on years of swedish speaking rosters.

tbh plopski they know by now what is in the tank. (his rating, impact and role versatilty) wheres es3tag he just joined and is learning to speak swedish fast, he has the support role but is also very versitile to play aggressive on T side or play with the awp. Bottomline: In this short time es3tag is already preforming as great as plopski. so the answer I guess is clear role for role wise keeping team chemistry -plopski Unless they want a temporary fix till device comes back. -phzy, keeping plopski and switching the awp between REZ, hampus and es3tag.

Hello Chris, As far as stocks go, I typically invest a decent chunk in emerging markets of developing countries, since they offer a lot of growth potential. I also invest in various US stocks related to infrastructure, green energy, public sector utilities, some niche companies and sectors, etc. I typically split across largecaps/bluechips, midcaps, and flexicaps. Amongst ETFs, I invest into Gold and Bitcoin ETFs since a long time. I don't directly trade in cryptos, for multiple reasons. I like to hedge out the risks. And finally, Mutual Funds is a huge deal. I've made around 37% annualized returns in the past 2 years in Mutual funds, so that pays a lot xD Hope that helps :)

Splitting between largecaps and bluechips sounds smart, diversify. Gold is also a good hedge. I own some funds that have mostly largecap companies. But I really like Swedish companies because its easier for me to understand everything about the company because I use their products and its easier to read financial reports and future outlook in my own language :) But im also a fan of US stocks just like you, right now im mostly cash since early january but looking to buy back in soon as the AAII sentiment shows that its peaking, and its usually a good time to get back in the market then after its been fearful for a while.

True, the market is kinda volatile right now cuz of this Russia-Ukraine situation, but it'll pass. I used to invest in Danish/Swedish companies before, until I experimented and realized that I can make several times more money by investing in developing economies. Of course, that necessitates a lot of research, but I kinda like that, so it's not an issue for me. You can use various strategies at the same time. Firstly, research and find a specifc sector you would like to invest in, and look for the funds having best outlook for the future. There are various alphas, metrices, and other measures you can use to objectively qualify each fund. You'd have to consider the fund houses, the fund managers as well. Secondly, you can find a few funds that diversify across multiple sectors and invest in over 50-100 different largecap/bluechip/midcap. This minimizes the risk, but depending on the kind of fund, can offer a good 15%-30% annualized return over 3 years. And ofc, we can trade options, contra, lots of other stuff as well, but let's not get into that. Simplicity is enough, but awareness is crucial. It comes with experience.

Proper roles are more important than absolute firepower, because if you are not in your preffered role you will play worse 100% of the time. That being said idk the rolles of those players

Players can swap roles. It's not like someone is good at one thing and completely incompetent in all the other roles. There were a lot of successful teams that erre swaping roles regularly such as old Polish VP or TSM which swappped the awping role between decice, karrigan and cajunb a lot. I think plopski can easily adapt to doing es3tag's role if they want to cut ese3tag for brollan.

That is true however plopski did support more along side inexperienced LNZ it didnt work out for plopski. But there is a player on that team that is very versitile which is es3tag. he can adapt and do many roles. I think this team needs that glue. although plopski lately to me has been great. its a tough call. seeing swedish speaking is also involved. The example you gave about Polish VP yeah that worked out with only a few variations. The awp swapping example on TSM actually didnt work out so well. word is that zonic pointed this out and vouched for device to take the main awp. he was right to call that. Karrigan was never going to be such a good awper. CajunB was better on the rifle and a very stationary awper. device is a mobile positional awper with the ability to fast flick. CajunB always got overrun easily. he did the de_dust2 long Car position very good though. and on cobblestone on North CajunB's awping was also pretty good.

Am not too sure. he had a revived period with Flusha, Golden, JW and Brollan. They all suffered from the Online era true. and KRIMZ is still solid. consistency was his middle name but am not too sure in this day and age. what is for sure is that es3tag can support and is consistent as well as able to do multiple roles like be an agressive rifler on T side or AWP.

To me, Plopski makes more sense than es3tag just because of roles. I can't really see anyone else on the roster being the Support player right now. Obviously you can go for the gamble and move Plopski (if he stays) or maybe even hampus but doesn't really make sense imo (weirdly enough)

As much as I like Plopski, I unfortunately think his time is up now. He has been on the team for a while now and his development has kinda stalled. He has kinda been the next in line on the chopping block ever since the -LNZ move, so... Role-wise es3tag just seems to be that "glue" element and I doubt that the NIP management would wanna get rid of him after only 3 months.

I understand where you going with this and I totally agree. At the same time I've always wanted Plopski to succeed in NIP but right now, I think both parties benefits on -Plopski both from a individual perspective but also a role perspective. As said earlier with roles, I can't really see anyone else right now as the support player in NIP than es3tag. If we theoretically think es3tag gets removed for Brollan (and device comes back or phzy stay, both more towards passive Awpers) then you would've had 3 or maybe even 4 aggresive riflers (I kind of consider REZ as an aggressive rifler) which usually makes the synergy in the team a bit shaky and therefor they should go -Plopski. Also Plopski would probably benefit of a new start and not have a roleclash with hampus (both aggresive entry)

Phoeh a temporary solution is even harder to predict as hampus could awp as well but then you'd be taking away a lot from the team chemistry in how he does IGL and make his wicked hampus plays with the rifle. Yes es3tag can awp as well and it would make sense for -phzy to make space but then you are left with the support role. What you could do as temporary solution is to switch the awp between REZ, Hampus and es3tag till Device comes back. All are known to pick up the awp every now and then in some double awp strategies.

Eitherway you look at it device is a great awper, as well as good hybrid m4a1s player and insane pistol round player like f0rrest. only device is a much better awper. The team was still building and switching out their 5th. the team problems was also with REZ form and Plopski's form. Wheres REZ is showing good signs now and plopski did before as well. its because of hampus and device that they won the RMR if you are going to point fingers to players here. I dont believe in that approach you look at the whole team as you buy and make moves to the pieces. You look at what the team needs and their chemistry. because only then will everything be good and will they start winning more over a year or a season. You take the best players in each roles. Just look at Astralis each was about the best or one of the best in their respective roles. its counterstrike, not deathmatch.
