23:55 The last 16 teams have found their way to the final day of the qualifier
The first day of the Europe RMR qualifier has come to an end, with only 16 teams left standing. Among them are many of the favorites for the five spots up for grabs, including BIG, Sprout, MAD Lions, FORZE, fnatic and K23.
Other teams that have been fighting hard throughout the first two qualifiers by putting in deep runs but falling short in the end, such as BLUEJAYS, Anonymo, SAW and 1shot, will also be fighting to punch a ticket to Bucharest. The Round of 16 matches will continue on Friday at 16:00 before moving on to the all-important best-of-three qualifying series in the quarter-finals.

Unlike the previous two qualifiers, where four spots were up for grabs, this time around there will be five, and there will therefore be a fifth place decider bracket for the teams losing their quarter-finals matches to have a last chance at securing a spot in the European RMRs.
The Round of 16 bracket is:
BIG vs.
MAD Lions
Anonymo vs.
WinX
Sprout vs.
BLUEJAYS
FORZE vs.
MASONIC
fnatic vs.
Illuminar
Unique vs.
UNGENTIUM
K23 vs.

21:30 Sprout speedruns the first day of play
The first day of the PGL Major Antwerp EU RMR Open Qualifier 3 is slowly coming to a close, with less and less teams still in the running for the five spots up for grabs at the RMR. Notable teams that were eliminated in the Round of 64 include Movistar Riders, Finest, GamerLegion, Tokyo Revengers, Eternal Fire and Lilmix.
The Round of 32, which is the last round of the first day of play, will feature some exciting match-ups, such as FATE playing WinX, a Bulgarian mix featuring Kalin "KalubeR" Erenditsov, Martin "mar" Kuyumdjiev, Viktor "Duplicate" Mitev, Blagoi "oxygeN" Dimitrov and Deyvid "h4rn" Benchev, or fnatic going up against 1WIN.
Sprout, who won with several one-sided results, were first to secure their spot in the final 16 with a 16-6 victory over Lilmix. Not all matches are in the final round of the day, however, as one of the most exciting matches between two top 30 teams is also still going down, as Wisla Krakow and K23 fight in the Round of 64.

20:25 Bracket starts to narrow down as Round of 128 is wrapped up
Some of the qualifier’s notable names are starting to drop out as the qualifier marches on, with the likes of SKADE, HAVU and Coalesce now eliminated. The Bulgarians fell at the hands of Simon "twist" Eliasson and William "draken" Sundin’s Savage, while the Finns went all the way to thirty rounds against Wisla Krakow and the European mix saw Pere "sausol" Solsona Saumell fall in triple overtime to his Movistar Riders compatriots.
Out of these aforementioned teams, Savage and Movistar Riders will now face off in the Round of 64, where teams like Aleksi "allu" Jalli’s temp are playing Anonymo, Finest are going up against 1shot, or Nemiga are playing Eternal Fire. The first results for the early matches in the Round of 64 are already in, with fnatic taking out Maikil "Golden" Selim’s mix team on Inferno, while Sprout ran over Apeks on Ancient.

19:00 Mix teams battle it out
Spikers, a team featuring the likes of Golden, Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann, Valentin "poizon" Vasilev and Kevin "HS" Tarn took out Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist’s Hellslayers, a mix of young Swedish players, remaining alive in the bracket with a real possibility of facing fnatic in the Round of 64.
MAD Lions were also almost taken aback by a mix. Still playing with Karol "rallen" Rodowicz in lieu of Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev, the Europeans beat a Russian mix team featuring Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin, Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev and Dmitriy "facecrack" Alekseyev, barely outgunning them in the late stages of the match to finish 16-14.

The mix team playing under the tag Benched Heroes, who went far in both of the first open qualifiers, were also knocked out of competition, this time by the Lithuanians of LastWind, who committed fratricide against Owen "smooya" Butterfield’s teammates in this qualifier, Aurimas "Kvik" Kvakšys and Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas.

18:00 Tricked, Into the Breach knocked out, Apeks survives LosReyes in first rounds
The favorites are chugging along the bracket as it hits the Round of 256, but a couple of known names have already hit the deck, with the likes of Tricked and Into the Breach losing to two Russian teams, POLIGON and Aleksei "RuFire" Burakov’s NewBALLS, respectively.

Apeks, who were upset in the Round of 256 in the last EU RMR open qualifier by going down to GMT, were taken to the brink today in the Round of 512, as they had to come back from a 4-10 deficit against Los Reyes, although this time around they were able to turn things around to get ahead 16-12.
