Complexity and MIBR join 2-0 pool, 00NATION falter
Round 2 has reached its end with MIBR, Liquid, Complexity, and Evil Geniuses each securing crucial wins.
The second round of the Americas Regional Major Ranking has come to a conclusion, which saw much-deserved victories from Complexity, Liquid, MIBR and Evil Geniuses as they all take a step closer to qualifying for the upcoming Major.
Complexity made quick work of 00NATION in a 16-5 beatdown on Nuke. Paytyn "junior" Johnson and the rest of his team overwhelmed the Brazilian-majority team with their firepower and eventually proved to be too much for Marcelo "coldzera" David's men to handle.
00NATION were unable to keep the momentum from their first round performance going as they looked like a completely different team, struggling to get kills and being thoroughly shut out on their T-side attacks.

Moreover, Liquid saw themselves bounce back from their first round loss by taking a dominant victory over TeamOne which ended with a score line of 16-3, with one of the tournament's heavy favorites now sitting on a 1-1 record.
MIBR won a high-stakes Brazilian derby against paiN in a back-and-forth match that reached triple overtime. It was a highly competitive affair which saw Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato and his crew come out on top in the end to secure the match 25-23 and a 2-0 record in the standings.
Evil Geniuses triumphed against South American opponents 9z in what was their first win in their last eight matches. The result will undoubtedly do wonders for the morale of Jake "Stewie2K" Yip's squad, as the team will look to build on this victory moving forward.
The third-round draw is coming up, where we will get to see which teams face off against one another when the second day of matches starts up on Tuesday.
