Sangal player Soulfly sidelined by visa issues ahead of RMR
Coach Tugay "TuGuX" Keskin will play instead of the Turkish youngster in at least the first match of the tournament.
Sangal will play the opening stages of the second European Regional Major Ranking tournament without Caner "soulfly" Kesici due to the 17-year-old encountering issues with the visa application process, the organization has announced on the day before the beginning of the event.
The team has stressed that there is still a possibility for the Turkish player to join the rest of the roster during their campaign in Bucharest, where they will play for Major qualification over the course of the next four days, on April 21-24.
TuGuX will stand in for the squad in the meantime after the coach was submitted as Sangal's official substitute. If soulfly is able to get his visa in time to travel to Romania, he can be swapped back into the roster as per the official Major rulebook.
As the third-lowest-ranked team in attendance and now without one of their main players, Sangal are facing an uphill battle on their quest to qualify for PGL Major Antwerp.
