ENCE qualify for Antwerp over Anonymo, Entropiq eliminated by HEET

Entropiq suffered a shock early exit at the hands of HEET, whilst ENCE secured qualification as expected.

ENCE followed up on their fantastic ESL Pro League run by securing Major qualification in convincing fashion in Bucharest, besting Anonymo 16-9, 16-10 on Overpass and Mirage respectively, whilst Entropiq's woeful run in the RMR culminated in a 0-2 loss at the hands of HEET.

ENCE were comfortably the better team in their series with the entire squad contributing frags and impact, whilst HEET had Thomas "Djoko" Pavoni and Aurélien "afro" Drapier to thank for their dominant win.

ENCE will have to wait until other results in the RMR are confirmed before learning if they will have the chance to fight for the third Legends spot available.

afro was in fine form to eliminate Entropiq

The qualification series opened with the ENCE pick of Overpass, and the European squad got off to a great start, coming back from a pistol loss to get out to a 5-1 lead; the Poles fought their way back into the half with five rounds in a row of their own, bringing the score back to 6-5 in their own favour. Pavle "Maden" Bošković found a key clutch to break the streak which earned ENCE a great return of seven rounds on their T side, the score ending 7-8 at the half.

Once again Anonymo threw the follow up round after winning the pistol, and this allowed ENCE to take control of the game on CT side; such was their control that they won nine rounds straight to close the map 16-9. Anonymo will be kicking themselves for not making the map closer, having lost several rounds in man-advantage situations and to force-buys.

Mirage, the pick of Anonymo, provided no more joy than Overpass for the Polish side; they laboured in finding any traction on their T side, struggling to string rounds together. Olek "hades" Miskiewicz had a fantastic half on the AWP for his team, leading ENCE to a 10-5 half on the CT side.

Anonymo lost their CT pistol to give themselves little chance to mount a comeback, but they did give themselves hope by winning a deagle force-buy early in the half to earn a string of five rounds. Unfortunately the rounds were such close affairs that the Poles never built an economical advantage, so a single successful B hit from ENCE broke them and led to a 16-10 win for the EU squad.

Over on the B stream, Nuke, the pick of HEET, was the opening map of the series and the French side posted a convincing win on their best map.

Entropiq kicked off on the CT side and started poorly, letting HEET get to a 4-3 score despite winning the pistol, before the Russian squad started to assert themselves on the defence. The Frenchmen did manage to find another round in the half, giving themselves a solid five round haul on the unfavoured offensive half.

HEET were an absolute wall on their CT side, posting 11 rounds in a row without reply to quietly put the game to bed 16-10; Entropiq will be frustrated that they didn't really pose any serious problems on their offense.

The Entropiq map of Overpass came next, and the Russian squad yet again struggled on their offensive half, falling to a 5-10 deficit largely due to a lack of individual firepower; they found precious few entries, and no player posted even 70 ADR for the half.

Losing the second half pistol meant Entropiq faced an uphill battle to get back into the series, however they did manage to pick four up in a row after winning the first gun round to at least put up a fight; once HEET stabilised their economy, they duly closed the map out 16-9 to keep themselves in the hunt for a Major spot.

You can play around with this: major.ieb.im/22rmr_antwerp If G2 wins Astralis and Bad News Eagles doesn't make the major might be the "easiest" route;

+mir it is then. Sign that man asap, they are in a slump and it seems they are lacking firepower, especially against top 10 teams

Entropiq needs changes. But mir has been on bench for half a year, I can't see him as an upgrade now. Btw who would you remove? It has to be either Lucky or Krad, right?

Mir didn't play any officials for a long time sure, but he did have a monster rating for a rifler, we're talking blameF numbers, and he was spirit's star player with degster. After some warmup games I'm sure he'll be fine and deliver as he did in Spirit. As for lack1 and Krad, yeah it has to be one of them, they should replace lack1 and give Krad supportive roles or replace Krad if they think lack1 is doing a good job as a support. But the change is deffinitely needed and it shows, they are in a bad form rn, and they seem to always need just a tad bit to beat top 10 teams and do good at some tier 1 tourneys and I'm sure an experienced player like Mir who can carry games singlehandedly can take them to that next level. And I think a core of El1an, Forester and Mir is easily a top 10 potential, they were top 10 before, with Mir they should be a staple in the top 10

I am concerned that no one tried to get Mir if he is still so good. Possibly because of big buyout but still he is not playing for so long, surely orgs can agree on reasonable terms. Also dream teams on paper do not always perform well in reality. Lack1 seems decent for support, though it is always hard to judge support from outside. It might work as Fl1t to VP. I don't have very strong opinion on Krad. I am not sold on El1an. He is a good awper, a bit unstable but he does not seem like a difference maker. With missing out on major, Entropiq will be out of top 20 if maybe even top 30. They also clearly hit their ceiling and regressing so changes are likely. If rumours of electronic are true, maybe they can get him.

Yeah Mir probably has a big buyout since he is still signed with Spirit that's why no teams are rushing to sign him. Even if navi kicks electronic I really don't think he would sign with Entropiq since that would be a big downgrade for him and I doubt Entropiq can afford him since Navi is paying him one of the biggest salaries in all of CSGO Esports.

The more I think of it, the more I like it. If Navi kicks electronic, he wouldn't have many good options. All top Russian orgs are struggling, VP and Gambit can be sold or disband. Spirit can probably afford him financially but even worse team. The rest are Pinnacle Cup teams. Plus electronic hasn't performed well this year so he might have to take a paycut. I believe his English is not very good plus family in Russia so he can't play for international team. So his best options are non-Russian org with Russian speaking team i.e. Entropiq, K23 etc.

When you put it like that it kinda does make sense, Vitality would be an option for him as well and they probably can match his salary from Navi But Electronic to Entropiq would make me wet myself ngl lol, I hope they sign a third star player

Sorry for my ignorance but why would electronic get kicked, based on any realistic reasons?

"We are not going to work with people who live in Russia and who pay taxes to the Russian Federation," said Navi's CEO. Electronic has parents, wife and a child in Russia and based on rumours might not relocate.

“I believe” “I believe” “I believe” Go away and be a Justin Belieber. How do you “believe” someone’s English is bad? ceh9 streams with him make fun of his more British than American accent. And he flew home every weekend to care for his firstborn. Carried 4 clowns for 4 years. Watch the NaVi YouTube recaps… blad3 defers to him (and for regional matchups perfecto) for the 3rd veto. Name one other team where the map pick isn’t done by the coach or IGL. He’s “underperforming” because he was robbed of a top 5. Anything is under that standard. “wouldn’t have many good options” 😂😂😂 I, well, BELIEVE there was this player - who you probably wouldn’t know - named s1mple who played for Liquid.

You take my opinion too seriously. My English take was based on the interview he was giving in Russian instead of English. Does he have good English - good for him. Will he relocate to play for international team? His slump is obvious no matter what are reasons.
2022-04-24 10:59
I heard rumors about mir. He was a bit toxic with his teammates, like don't listen to his igl, stuff like that. I don't know if it is true, but I guess it doesn't help for buyouts. I agree entropiq reached a plateau and need a change.

I heard that as well, if it's true it sucks totally but I hope he learns from it, one of the reasons why people are pushing for Entropiq to sign Mir is because he was listed as a substitute for Katowice I think so he had some practice with the team and got to know them a bit

Btw according to Russian insider Overdrive mir's contract with Spirit has ended and is free agent now. Spirit didn't announce anything though. We'll see where he ends up.
