NiKo and huNter- extend contracts with G2
The Bosnian duo has penned a multi-year extension with their organization.
Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač have committed their future to G2 ahead of the PGL Antwerp Major as the team has announced a contract renewal with the Kovač cousins on Saturday. While the exact duration of the extension hasn't been revealed, HLTV.org has confirmed that a multi-year deal has been agreed upon between the parties.

huNter- has been a part of G2 since October of 2019, when he joined the internationals squad from CR4ZY after breaking out alongside Nemanja "nexa" Isaković. NiKo's addition to the team came a year later, in November of 2020, in a blockbuster transfer from FaZe.
With their extensions, the 25-year-old NiKo and 26-year-old huNter- have committed their prime competitive years to G2. Both players have shown great individual form during their time with the squad, having been ranked top 20 players of 2020 and 2021, but trophies continue to escape them.
G2 will be hoping their fortunes change soon as they head into the PGL Antwerp Major, which they kick off with a game against Liquid on May 9th. The team is currently ranked sixth in the world, having impressed in their debut under Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's leadership at IEM Katowice, but failed to keep up their form at ESL Pro League and the PGL RMR.
G2 have the following lineup:
Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač
Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
Audric "JACKZ" Jug
Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen
Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam (coach)
