BIG and Copenhagen Flames round out Pinnacle Cup Championship team list

The last two teams have been invited to the event in Sweden, meaning all of the eight teams in attendance are now known.

BIG and Copenhagen Flames have received the final two invites to the $250.000 Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 which will be happening on June 8-11 in Lund, Sweden.

The invited duo are confirmed at the event just before they start off their PGL Antwerp Major campaign, as they both qualified for the tournament as Legends.

The highest ranked teams at the event will be Heroic and Astralis, who will both be looking to fan the flames of their rivalry and get one over each other in what will no doubt be a grudge match if the teams will meet.

Copenhagen Flames join them as the third Danish squad, attending the event not too far from home in the city of Lund, less than an hour's drive from the Danish border.

The remainder of the competition consists of fnatic, the closest to a home team that the tournament features with two Swedish players in the lineup, along with Imperial, MIBR, and Evil Geniuses.

The event will be held in the 3,000 capacity Sparbanken Skåne Arena, with tickets starting from the second day of the competition on June 9 still available at Ticketmaster.
