Copenhagen Flames best ENCE, FaZe dismantle Bad News Eagles
Copenhagen Flames are now one win away from qualifying for the playoffs, while Bad News Eagles face elimination.
Copenhagen Flames have secured a 16-8 win on Ancient against ENCE to move within a series from a spot in the playoffs, while the European mix around Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer joins the stacket 1-1 pool of teams.
Meanwhile, FaZe got their Major campaign back on track with a convincing win on Ancient against Bad News Eagles, meaning they now join the 1-1 pool. For the Albanian-Kosovar team this loss puts them into the elimination game tomorrow, where they will hope to get their first win in the Legends Stage.

Copenhagen Flames started the game with a very impressive CT side despite ENCE winning the pistol. Copenhagen Flames, who lost Ancient just three times this year — one of those being against ENCE — went 8-3 up before Snappi & co. were able to finish out the half with a few successful rounds. The score at half time was 10-5, with Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi looking impressive on the AWP for the Danes.
ENCE won their second pistol round of the map to reduce the deficit to 7-10, but Copenhagen Flames simply proved too much to handle as they got three rounds in a row to get themselves within touching distance of the 2-0 pool of tomorrow's games.
A fast play on the A site by the Danes at 13-8 was the final nail in the coffin for the Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer led team, as they ended up losing the map 8-16.

On the B stream, it was the underdogs of Bad News Eagles who got off to a good start against the #1 team in the world, but it was all for naught.
They won the pistol round and fended off the FaZe force buy to go 2-0 up, before they faltered against the Deagles of the European mix squad to put the scoreline at 2-1. After that it was smooth sailing for FaZe, who racked up rounds due to their firepower and experience getting them over the line in many instances. Bad News Eagles found limited success on their T side, unable to string many rounds together but still ending up with four on the board at half time.
Once FaZe got to the T half, they looked in control and raced to victory, not losing a single round and closing out the game 16-4.
