Jimpphat signs for MOUZ NXT
The 15-year-old Finn has been standing in for the squad since March.
MOUZ NXT have announced the signing of Finnish star Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo, the youngest CS player the organisation has ever signed, making the move permanent after playing with the youngster since March.
Jimpphat, younger brother of ex-ENCE star Jere "sergej" Salo, was brought into the team as a stand-in following the promotion of Jon "JDC" de Castro to the main roster. Previously Jimpphat had played with Finnish rosters such as SJ and Conquer, performing well in regional tournaments.

Immediately after adding the Finn MOUZ NXT posted a promising performance at Pinnacle Cup III, defeating solid tier-two opposition such as GamerLegion to make the playoffs, only to be eliminated by eventual winners SKADE.
“I think Jimi has been a great addition to the team and has enormous potential. He shows a good performance on the server, and off the server he fits into the team with his humor.” MOUZ NXT coach Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo said of the player.
The academy squad have set their sights on qualifying for the upcoming REPUBLEAGUE Season 3, with their campaign starting on Tuesday May 24, and winning the expanded fourth season of the WePlay Academy League, where they will likely be the favourites.
