rain: "All of these people saying -rain +whatever, that was the motivation for me to play better"
The Norwegian spoke about his form and motivation in a post-match interview.
A stellar performance from Håvard "rain" Nygaard on Nuke allowed FaZe to pick up a 2-1 victory over NIP in the quarter-finals of the PGL Major Antwerp, and the rifler spoke about it in a post-match interview with James "BanKs" Banks in the Sportpaleis.

"No, we don't really feel any pressure, we know that even if we are down 15-7, 15-6, we can do a comeback," rain said to open up the interview, pointing out that they might be overconfident sometimes, leading to lost rounds like in the series against the Swedes.
"There is no pressure. It is more that we get too excited sometimes and throw away some rounds, as you see on Inferno and Overpass, we lost both second rounds. We are too excited sometimes."
You can see the 4v2 second-round loss on Inferno in the clip below:
He continued praising the team atmosphere, explaining that FaZe feels like a big family. "That is what you need to have in a team, you need to have a good mood, everyone needs to be getting along together, and so far it has been working really well for us."
Lastly, rain currently averages a 1.15 rating at the Major and posted a 1.52 rating on the opening map against NIP, which led to a question about his form and drive. The Norwegian explained that missing out on the playoffs of IEM Katowice and the calls for him to be replaced by stand-in Justin "jks" Savage added fuel to his fire.
"[I have] some extra motivation from all the hate I got, especially after Katowice. All of these people saying -rain +whatever, that was the motivation for me to play better. And also the young kids on my team bring me up and motivate me with how much they play."
After their victory over NIP, FaZe continue in the playoffs and will face the winners of Spirit - FURIA on Saturday.
