MIBR confirm brnz4n promotion
The 18-year-old completes the move up to the main lineup.
After sending AWPer Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato to the bench on Tuesday, MIBR have announced that Breno "brnz4n" Poletto has been added to the lineup as a replacement for the former captain. brnz4n comes from MIBR Academy, and was by far the standout player on the lineup, posting a 1.25 rating in the past three months.
With WOOD7 serving as both the in-game leader and primary AWPer, these two critical roles would need filling in the new lineup. In a statement on the MIBR website, the team explained their choice of player for each role. For the sniper position, the team has entrusted the new youngster brnz4n with the big green, and are confident in his future performance despite him not playing as the primary AWPer before.

For in-game leading duties, longest standing team member Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes will pick up the reins. The team cited his already existing input during matches as well as his role as an out-of-game leader as reasons to give him the new role.
MIBR will look to capitalize on their recent string of strong results, culminating in participation at the PGL Antwerp 2022 Major. Despite surpassing expectations and qualifying for the event 3-0 in the Regional Major Ranking event, the squad was unable to make it pas the Challengers stage.
Here is MIBR's new lineup:

Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia
