Endpoint unveil Rejin as new head coach

The former mousesports coach will look to help the team return to form following the end of his coaching ban.

Allan "Rejin" Petersen has been revealed as the new head coach of Endpoint via the organization's Twitter account. He will be replacing the outgoing Allan "Allan" Hender.

The Danish tactician looks to revitalize the team who have lately been on a downward trajectory, as the team dropped from their peak of #24 to #45 in the HLTV rankings and recently transfer listed Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas to allow him to look for other opportunities, meaning they also need to fill out a spot on their active roster.

Rejin returns to coaching with Endpoint

Rejin is mostly known for his time in MOUZ, where he occupied the head coach position for just over a year, the highlight of his team being the grand final win of cs_summit 5, where he was forced to stand in for Finn "karrigan" Andersen.

He was later suspended by ESIC due to using the coach bug. Rejin was found guilty of using the bug in seven instances, meaning he received a ban from all ESIC-member events for 19.8 months, which included a 45% reduction for an accepted admission and assistance with the investigation.

Having fully served his ban during his time in MAD Lions, where he worked as a manager, and Entropiq Prague, where he helped the team as an analyst, Rejin now returns to a head coach position.

"I’m happy to announce my comeback as a head coach. When Endpoint reached out and told about their project and future, it was a no brainer for me to say yes", Rejin said about his return. "I’m so excited to make my comeback on the server and guide the lads to greater success."

He also touched on his coaching ban, lamenting his decision: "I know in many eyes I have betrayed the scene and the community that I dearly love so much. I have learnt many valuable lessons the past two years. I need to earn my way back, and I will keep grinding and give back to the community."

Peter Thompson, the organization's COO also spoke highly of their newest addition, saying "We are extremely excited to start working with such an experienced coach as Rejin. For us to be able to get a tier 1 coach of his caliber and work ethic is exactly what we need to push Endpoint CSGO and Endpoint as a whole in the years to come."

With this addition, Endpoint are now:

United Kingdom Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath

Israel Guy "Nertz" Iluz

Denmark Allan "Rejin" Petersen (Head coach)

He did come out on his own and confessed that he used the coach bug. Your point?

That he should look at another career other than csgo. There are hardly any coaches that cheated more than him.

Hunden But yeah, Reijin is right behind him
2022-05-25 19:28
He cheated in 7 matches(prior to his stay in mouz), the avg. coach on that list I saw cheated in 2-4 matches, yet so many of them were discovered only due to ESIC's effort and not because they felt guilty and wanted to confess. Knowing this I'd choose a honest coach over a shady one any given day. Meaning I'd rather choose Reijin since his experience with mouz and what we not might know he might be a really good person to be around - motivational, inspirational you name it. Just because you cheated once or twice doesn't make you a better choice over a guy that cheated/used a bug more than you. Glad for Reijin gettin a shot, I believe he has what it takes to bring endpoint to the T1 events.

simple question. doesnt matter what crime. murder was an extreme example ofc. if he was a thief and his time in jail was over. is he still a thief? or can you not call him that anymore? take any crime. the question is the same. i dont think its fair or anything. its just a stupid argument in my eyes: "he served his ban" so what? he still did it and you can still call him out for it.

1st: I dont know if s1mple cheated in the past. 2nd: I never said anything like that. whats your logic? If s1mple cheated, the question would be: could you still call him a cheater today?

No. Cause he is not cheating anymore. Neither is Rejin. Is an ex alcoholic still an alcoholic? Your logic seems twisted.

Endpoint is always full of young new talents, its a opportunity for him to grow and influence the next generation of cs. Also an experienced t1 figure is very beneficial for these new pros
2022-05-25 16:07
I mean, I don’t think Rejin is being flooded with offers at the moment, and Endpoint is a decent org that probably pays decent money
2022-05-25 16:38

Well, he is unbanned. So, i am sure he got some offers. Obviously Endpoint isnt a bad or poor org and their team is decent. I just expected him to join a T1 team, even if it would be on the lower side of T1.

Even though he's unbanned it still brings a lot of potential bad reputation to any organisation that goes for him hence why I personally believe that he my not have gotten many offers, especially not from the T1 scene.
2022-05-25 17:31
He is not unbanned. He is banned for life for valve sponsored events, so no tier 1 team will ever pick him up again.

Valve made the decision to ban coaches who received 6+ ESIC demerit points from all future majors. This includes Rejin. blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/2021/0.. esic.gg/annexure-a-sanction-outcomes.pdf esic.gg/annexure-b-sanctions-concessions..
