NAVI: No talks for YEKINDAR, electroNic considered for IGL role
Comments from the Ukrainian organization provided insight into their roster situation.
Natus Vincere COO Oleksij "xaoc" Kucherov spoke out about the team's future as they find themselves a man down and without an in-game leader following Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov's removal due to "high reputational risks".
On May 30, xaoc denied that Natus Vincere are in negotiations for the Latvian star Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis via Twitter, and followed it up on May 31 with a comment to Dexerto in which he reaveled that Denis "electroNic" Sharipov could take over Boombl4's role and that they are monitoring Timur "buster" Tulepov as a potential signing.

However, a move for buster would require him to be released from Virtus.pro, as Natus Vincere are not willing to reach any sort of deal with the Russian organization as a consequence of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. While there are no certainties that buster would be released into free agency, the expectations seem to be that the Kazakh player is more likely to get out of his contract than his Latvian teammate YEKINDAR.
Update May 31, 16:34: Virtus.pro rejected the possibility of releasing buster from his contract in a statement to Dexerto. "All of our CS:GO players have long-term contracts. None of them can leave unless a proper fee is paid."

electroNic taking over the calling would mark the Russian's first attempt to take the reins of a team. He has been a star player for the Black and Yellow since November 2017, placing in the top 10 of the best players list in four consecutive years. At the beginning of 2021, Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy spoke about electroNic's evolution as a player and noted that he believes the Russian could become a more veteran figure in the team as Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy grow into stars themselves.
Natus Vincere are currently:
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev
Denis "electroNic" Sharipov
Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy
Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy
Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy (coach)
