Nemiga reveal new lineup
Two familiar faces return to represent the team.
Belarusian organization Nemiga announced its new roster ahead of the new tournament season. The core of Andrey "BELCHONOKK" Yasinskiy, Artem "iDISBALANCE" Egorov, and Rassim "Jyo" Valijev make their return from the previous roster, joined by Stanislav "fostar" Ostashevskiy and Aliaksandr "1eeR" Nahorny.
Nemiga previously benched their entire squad on July 7 following a series of disappointing results at ESEA Advanced Season 41 Europe and various online qualifiers going into the summer. As it stands, both Anton "boX" Burko and Artem "Chill" Mankevich will not be part of the organization's plans going into the future.
The Belarusian core started 2022 fighting to break into the top 30 of the global rankings, hovering around the No 39 spot before plateauing and falling down the order. After dropping more than 50 spots in the rankings, Nemiga made the decision to bench the roster.
fostar and 1eeR are not new to the squad, with both players having represented the organization between 2021 and 2022. Since leaving the squad in January, the 20-year-old has been without a team, with his most recent recorded match being with the Belarusian-Russian mix of P2N.
"You are already familiar with all players: they defended the name Nemiga Gaming in different periods of our organization's development," read Nemiga's announcement on Twitter. "[The] guys have already stopped by the boot camp in full force and started training hard," it continued.
Nemiga will put their new roster into action in the upcoming qualifiers for the IEM Rio Regional Major Ranking event and ESEA Advanced Europe Season 42.
