Falcons confirm NBK- and misutaaa signings
The French duo are returning to a native-speaking team after international spells.
Falcons have confirmed the addition of Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier and Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt, the Saudi Arabian organization has announced on their Twitter. The move comes after a report from 1pv.fr stated that the two players' addition is imminent.
These are the first changes to the lineup since the squad signed for the organization in February. The newly added French duo will be replacing the benched Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus and Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van on the roster, after NBK- had already stood in for Kyojin on a short-term loan due to the latter's injury concerns.
Falcons have spent the last season playing in lower-tier competition, where they found relative success, winning ESL National Championship France Spring 2022 And ESL Challenger League Season 41 Europe, but failed to make their mark on higher-tier events.
The addition of NBK-, who returns to the French scene after recently playing internationally in OG and MOUZ, will add some tier-one experience to the roster, with the French veteran having played at 14 Majors and 94 LAN tournaments.
misutaaa will also bring high-level experience to the roster despite his young age, having won several titles in his two years on the Vitality roster. Like NBK-, he returns to the French scene after Vitality went international at the start of 2022. His form dipped once in an international setting, averaging a 0.93 rating — a far cry from the highs he showed in 2021.
Falcons are set to make their debut in the IEM Road to Rio open qualifiers starting on August 15, and are also slated to compete in ESL Challenger League Season 42.
With the new additions, Falcons are now:
