s1mple to return for BLAST Premier Fall Groups knockout stage
The Ukrainian star will be back in action for NAVI when the event resumes in Copenhagen.
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev announced that he is flying to Denmark, where the BLAST Premier Fall Groups have been taking place since Group A kicked off on August 19.
Natus Vincere's star AWPer missed the mostly inconsequential first part of the group stage, which served to seed teams with best-of-one matches ahead of the knockout stage.
The 24-year-old did not fly to Copenhagen at the start of the event for personal reasons and gave way for academy player Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov to get his second experience with the main NAVI squad.
The youngster posted a 1.12 rating in his team's lower bracket run to the top seed in Group B, but despite the promising numbers he is not yet completely comfortable against top tier opposition, according to coach Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy.
Natus Vincere will continue their BLAST Premier Fall Groups run on the last day of the knockout stage, Saturday, August 27, thanks to their top seed from the group stage. They will face G2, BIG or Vitality in the final match of the bracket for qualification to the Fall Finals or a spot in the last chance stage.
Natus Vincere will return to full force in Copenhagen with their starting lineup:
