Entropiq place El1an on transfer list
Dmitriy "SENSEi" Shvorak will play the coming ESL Challenger Rotterdam Closed Qualifier with Entropiq.
Entropiq's longtime AWPer Aleksei "El1an" Gusev will no longer start for the team and has been made transferable by the Czech organization. The 23-year-old and Entropiq agreed mutually that the best way forward is to make changes, and the AWPer has been moved to the bench ahead of the upcoming ESL Challenger Rotterdam closed qualifier.
Entropiq will field a stand-in for the closed qualifier, Ukraine's SENSEi. The 23-year-old that has been showing promising performances with Iron Branch, averaging a 1.26 rating in the lower echelons of European competition.

El1an's benching comes three months after the squad's latest change in June, when Viktor "Lack1" Boldyrev was let go to bring on Nikolay "mir" Bityukov. Victory has been elusive since then, however, Entropiq's most recent outing at ESL Challenger Melbourne ending in the semi-finals at the hands of Imperial.
Entropiq also struggled before bringing on mir, they went home early at ESL Pro League Season 15 and the PGL Major Antwerp Europe RMR in the second half of 2021. El1an has long been one of Russian's most promising snipers, but his 1.10 rating in 2022 is a far cry from his 2020 and 2021 form, when he posted 1.20 and 1.22 ratings, respectively. His three-month average shows that it hasn't been smooth sailing of late, dipping down to 1.04.
"El1an is undoubtedly a world-class player who has been an integral part of the many successes we have achieved together," Entropiq's CEO, Daniel Kloud, told HLTV.
"We always listen to our players and their wishes. When Aleksei came to us with the suggestion of a new challenge, we ourselves felt that it was the right time to take this step. We wish Aleksei the best of luck and hope to find the right club for him. It was truly a pleasure working with him."
The Russian squad will start their ESL Challenger Rotterdam Closed Qualifier run on Friday, September 16, with a best-of-three opening match against fnatic Rising in the double-elimination bracket.
