Thomas, Spiidi, Loord join cowana until 2023
The German organization added three free agents to help them until the end of the year.
cowana announced the additions of Thomas "Thomas" Utting and Timo "Spiidi" Richter to the starting lineup while Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski joined as the team's coach. The new arrivals are only temporary and are set to remain with the squad until the end of the year, but could remain for longer if the partnership proves successful.
The changes mean that Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend is no longer a part of the squad, becoming the third individual to depart the team in October after the removal Kevin "HS" Tarn and coach Dominik "KiNGDOM" Aberle.

The bulk of Loord's experience as a coach comes from the Polish scene, previously working for the likes of Kinguin and devils.one. Most recently, he stood behind Wisla Krakow until the organization decided to shut down its esports operations and release its squad as free agents in July.
Spiidi has been a staple of the German scene for years and his addition to cowana will see him reunited with Denis "denis" Howell, a partnership previously seen in teams such as PENTA, MOUZ, and Sprout.

Thomas, like many from the British Counter-Strike scene, made his name on Endpoint. The 24-year-old returned from an unsuccessful stint with Envy in 2021, but has since been unable to find a permanent home, most recently competing with Into the Breach as a stand-in. He has no recorded matches on HLTV over the last three months.
