SAW take down TYLOO to secure Elisa Masters Espoo berth

SAW defeated the Chinese squad in a three-map series to reach the Elisa Invitational Fall grand final and lock in a spot at Elisa Masters Espoo.

SAW bested TYLOO 2-1 in the Elisa Invitational Fall semi-finals to set-up a grand-final match-up against GamerLegion. The Portuguese roster narrowly dropped Inferno (14-16), then gave the Chinese squad a battering on Ancient (16-4), before comfortably closing things out on Overpass (16-8) to lock in a top-two finish and qualify for Elisa Masters Espoo in the process.

Tiago "JUST" Moura was key in getting his team over the line, putting up a team-high 1.48 rating and 97 ADR. The Portuguese lineup will now begin preparing for their grand-final game versus GamerLegion, scheduled to begin later on Wednesday at 20:00 .

JUST was unstoppable all series long, averaging a 1.48 rating

SAW will relish in being gifted yet another chance to test their mettle against other notable competition on LAN, their last appearance at an offline event dating back to the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR B tournament back in October.

SAW struggled to get anything going during their time at the competition in Malta, where they bowed out of the Major-qualifying event in joint-last place with an uninspiring 0-3 record. The side's most convincing showing was a hard-fought 1-2 defeat to HEET in their elimination match-up.

Participating at the Finnish LAN will be a good opportunity for SAW to fight stagnation. The Portuguese team has struggled to remain competitive in the server as of late, with Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes and company falling from their 2022 peak of 31st in the world ranking to their current 48th place.

Im talking about elisa masters Espoo, if they ask the tournament organizers they will get a direct invite but they are not even doing that. What a disappointment g2 is. They only play big tournaments and dont participate in small tournaments, While they are never even a threat in big tournaments, so i dont understand their logic , No wonder they have not won a trophy in 3 years.
