oskar departs TITANS: "What a wasted year for me once again"

The Czech AWPer leaves TITANS claiming the Swiss organization did not meet "contractual agreements."

Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný has announced his departure from TITANS. In his short statement on Twitter, the 31-year-old said the decision came after "contractual agreements were not met," further fueling reports of the Swiss organization owing money to some of their players.

The Czech star took no prisoners when announcing his exit, referring to his time with TITANS, whom he joined in February 2022 after ending his stint with SINNERS, as a "wasted year."

"Happy to say that today is the day I am finally out of the Titans show [clown emoji]," oskar's Tweet says. "The decision was made since the contractual agreements were not met and I am looking forward to my new journey. What a wasted year for me once again."

oskar is on the market for a new team after an arduous year with TITANS

The Swiss organization was launched in April 2021 but did not go official under the TITANS brand until nearly a year and a half later. Playing under several different tags such as GORILLAZ and Tokyo Revengers during that time, only Miikka "suNny" Kemppi remained on the roster through many different iterations, none of which amounted to much success on the international scene.

In early October, most of the players of the last iteration of TITANSoskar, suNny, Anton "supra" Tšernobai, and Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov — were listed for transfer, and shortly after that, Magnus "Nodios" Olsen' contract was terminated and Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen's expired.

Nodios has since gone on record in a Danish podcast called 'Bootcamp' saying he was owed between 75,000 to 100,000 DKK (approximately $10,000 to $14,000) in salary and bootcamp expenses but gave up a part of the money to get out of his contract with TITANS. The Dane also said that he believes "a big case" is going to be made against the Swiss organization from the former players over being owed "a lot of money."

The following quartet is believed to be under contract with TITANS:

Finland Miikka "suNny" Kemppi
Estonia Anton "supra" Tšernobai
Finland Jere "sergej" Salo
Ukraine Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov

he had some disputes with neofrag, as far as I remember beastik saying on stream, and a morale in team was a bit low as well in that time, but few good results like in epl meant he stayed a bit longer. but money could also be a reason though I dont think he really needs them tbh

As far as I know oskar, it was money. And yes, I do think he needs them. Maybe not right know, but in the future, he does. I believe his worst dream is to go work back into some factory. And to evade that, you must have money.

Natural talent has nothing to do with it its just younger players in more scenarios has better awareness reaction times. And many other things but u still need expierence in team. But young players are more hungry to win usually.
2022-11-20 14:26
2 replies
there are plenty of proves that teams with average age 19-20 have won tournaments around years so experience is overrated, its overall skill that makes difference and those guys aren't that old that reaction times would explain why they couldn't win tournament for ages, its just that youngsters are better naturally, more individual skills than old dogs have

he is awesome, but he is toxic towards skill of his teammates, cuz he put a lot of in a game, in navi it works for simple, but doesnt work for oskar.. tho he could easily be on T1 scene with any team and be crucial player... its sad that titans showed to be such a scam ORG..
