FaZe steamroll OG to pick up opening win in Denmark

FaZe won 14 straight rounds on Mirage to wrap up the series in convincing fashion.

FaZe opened their BLAST Premier Fall Final campaign with a bang after dismantling OG in two swift maps, 2-0. They secured their opponents' map pick without breaking a sweat 16-3 before embarking on a 14-round streak on Mirage to claim the map 16-6 and series 2-0. FaZe now advance to the Group A upper final while OG find themselves in the lower bracket, one loss away from elimination.

Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken topped the scoreboard with 41 kills and a 1.59 overall rating including a wealth of multi-kills throughout the series. Abdul "degster" Gasanov was the lone shining light on OG's side as the Russian sniper racked up 33 kills and a 1.09 rating as his team's only positive player.

FaZe were unstoppable against OG

FaZe kicked off the series with a successful opening pistol round and dominated all the way until the break where they held a 12-3 advantage. OG's three scores all came from successful site pushes, but Nemanja "nexa" Isaković's men were unable to consistently plant the bomb and get any sort of momentum going as the attackers which resulted in their nine-round deficit at halftime.

The international powerhouse wasted no time in wrapping up Ancient 16-3 after winning four straight coming out of the switch. Twistzz led the way with 19 frags and a handful of multi-kill rounds under his belt.

OG flipped the series on its head on Mirage, garnering a quick 5-0 lead thanks to hot starts from degster and Shahar "flameZ" Shushan. FaZe got themselves on the board in the sixth after a successful B push prompted the European mix to save. This sparked a run of their own until they took over the lead and finished the half 9-6. FaZe's ruthless spree was highlighted by Twistzz pulling off a 1vs2 clutch in the seventh and Helvijs "broky" Saukants picking up a quad-kill in the tenth round.

Similar to the first map, FaZe delivered a flawless second half and wrapped up the map with a 14-round streak en route to a 16-6 victory which clinched the series 2-0. OG had no answer for anything the defenders threw at them as broky continued his excellent form and put up 11 kills and a 2.37 rating on the CT side alone, finishing with 21 frags in total.

If they have karigen no way.. it is hard to win 4vs5 they would need there suport to step up and play for two like last time they won....

flair checks out, stats dont mean everything. I don't wanna be protecting karrigan on all fronts, but hes certainly the BEST igl in the scene currently, and who are you replacing karrigan with? broky is not an option, hes too young. rain doesn't want to igl. twistzz is supposed to be an aimstar. ok, so u wanna make ropz into a mediocre player. I hate a lot of hltv comments like these because they are so based on stats. Even HooXi, who I don't really like sacrifices his stats so his other players can get more impact. Obviously that doesn't excuse his shitty stats, but karrigan is for one a better statistical player. Second, he's far more experienced than almost every igl in the scene currently, and arguable the best igl in the world currently due to how on top of his game he was. Yes, gla1ve won 3 majors in a row, but guess what, they are sitting at 18th in the world. If you can't make anything happen just cause you lost your star awper, your not the best igl. As for stats, karrigan isn't a hooxi (reference to #33) karrigans strats revolve around him dying and getting info or trading.

mate astralis had karigen and quest what they kicked karigen coz exacly thouse points i just said .. problem with karigen is he is just bad in game, he is one of if not THE best player to make people drop money on cs:go and get the best 4 players ever he litererly created over 2 beset teams ever even more but he is jsut not the last pazle....I mean jsut go watch how it all goes now he always is worse rated and only pick kills when he makes people flash for him or agros vs eco and so on ...

u sound like copium because its danish diff karrigan > astralis karrigan's 1.20 rating in blast > your 0.98 rating in matchmaking i cant believe people like this exist, people who only look at stats and blame players for "shit" stats.... your just someone who doesn't understand the igl role though, so i guess its understandable

i am not talking about stats i am saying how he plays how he do impact he is just not good. I mean just ask your self why good teams always kick karigen first .. i mean astralis won all this only coz they kicked karigen off ... h eis not bad ofc he is top tier but he is not best igl there is . I am playing cs:go since 2012 and i know how to play i am iglder my self nad i used to play pro too, but the problem is you can´t be only igl and not play good ... jsut look iglder like glave he is litererly the best igl he can do tacticks adn still have impact i think the #2 best igl right now is actualy ropz i think if he moves to igldeing it would be epic i personaly think it is another step on faze they kick karigen nad make ropz iglder just mark my words :)

It was 40+ and he is not a bad player by any means, offers a lot in terms of raw mechanics. It just boils down to FaZe playing better today.
