Thomas enters free agency
The British player is free to explore his options after terminating his contract with cowana.
Thomas "Thomas" Utting has left cowana and is now a free agent, the player announced on Twitter. The 24-year-old has terminated his contract with the German organization citing "unforeseen circumstances," and now once again becomes teamless after representing four different rosters during the year.
The move puts an end to a month-long partnership between Thomas and his team, which was supposed to run until 2023. cowana have now gone through five roster changes in the year, recently relieving Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend and Kevin "HS" Tarn of their duties, the latter bringing up unpaid salaries from the organization upon his departure.

Thomas joined the team in October alongside Timo "Spiidi" Richter, while Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski was also signed at the same time as the team's coach. The roster changes were temporary and could be made permanent if the partnership proved successful, but cowana failed to find success and made no appearances on HLTV during this time.
Thomas first made his name on Endpoint, who he represented in three different stints dating all the way back to 2017. He also played for a largely unsuccessful Envy team in 2020 and has struggled to find a permanent home in 2022, turning out for Endpoint, Coalesce, Into the Breach, and cowana.
The British rifler has stated that he is open to any projects in Europe, North America, or Australia, and that interested parties should contact him on Twitter.
