Five Brazilian teams to play in ESL Pro League Season 17 as MIBR and 00NATION qualify
Only the final European spot is left to be determined to finalize the 32-team list.
MIBR and 00NATION have claimed the second and final ESL Pro League spots on offer in the North American and South American Conference tournaments, respectively.
The two Brazilian teams join three other compatriots at the tournament, including the partnered team FURIA, as well as paiN, who qualified by winning ESL Challenger Melbourne in September, and Imperial, who came through the South American Conference.
MIBR join ATK from the NA side after falling short to Gareth "MisteM" Ries and company in their first attempt to qualify. In their second attempt, the Brazilians repeated their victory over Nouns from the opening round, scraping past the American squad after a hard-fought series.

Meanwhile, 00NATION made short work of Flamengo in their qualification series after falling to the lower bracket at the hands of Imperial in their first shot at a spot at ESL Pro League.
Just one last spot is left to be decided before the 32-team list is complete. Endpoint and forZe will fight for their ticket to Malta in the European Conference's lower bracket final, taking place at 19:00 .
ESL Pro League Season 17, which now features a new format after it has been expanded from 24 to 32 teams, will run from February 22-March 26. Each week one group of eight teams will play in a triple-elimination format before the top 16 teams converge in the playoffs in the final week of competition.
