IHC qualify for IEM Brazil
The Mongolian team completed their lower-bracket run to qualify for the $250,000 event.
IHC secured an IEM Brazil spot after coming through the Asian Closed Qualifier. The Mongolians lost their first match against Eruption but quickly turned their campaign around by winning against Renewal, Eruption, and Lynn Vision without dropping a single map. IHC, who are currently ranked No. 30 in the world, are now set to attend IEM Brazil as the only Asian representatives.
The Brazilian event will run from April 17-23 and feature a $250,000 prize pool at a yet undisclosed location in the South American country. There are still four spots up for grabs, with the European and North American Closed Qualifiers providing two each.

IHC's qualification further adds to the recent success of the Mongolian team, who attended both the Antwerp and Rio Majors last year and recently qualified for the ESL Pro League Season 17 and IEM Katowice Play-In. Their recent results have cemented them as the number-one team in Asia, with their closest challengers Rare Atom sitting 28 places behind them in the HLTV.org World Rankings.
