rain and RobbaN return for FaZe at IEM Katowice

FaZe are back to full strength for the Polish event.

FaZe have announced that Håvard "rain" Nygaard and Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström are set to return to the team for IEM Katowice. The European combine previously used Patrick "es3tag" Hansen as a substitute at BLAST Premier Spring Groups due to the Norwegian anticipating the birth of his child.

The news of rain's return comes as a huge boost for Finn "karrigan" Andersen and company, who have their first chance to close out the Intel Grand Slam with a win in Katowice, which karrigan admitted is the main goal for the team in 2023.

rain will return to the team in Katowice

FaZe have been placed in Group A of the event, which consists of several high-profile teams such as G2, Liquid, Natus Vincere, and Cloud9. With only three playoff spots up for grabs from each group, FaZe will need to be in their best form at the start of IEM Katowice on Saturday at 16:00 , when they will meet one of the Play-In teams.

FaZe's roster for IEM Katowice looks as follows:

Latvia Helvijs "broky" Saukants
Canada Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
Denmark Finn "karrigan" Andersen
Estonia Robin "ropz" Kool
Norway Håvard "rain" Nygaard

Sweden Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström (coach)

With G2's form, it looks uncertain. G2 was the only team in Spring Groups that didn't drop a single map. FaZe didn't even do that. I hope that G2 can get their revenge on FaZe for last kato and win 3-0 if it's a Best Of 5.

Bruh if it's a bo5 final Then FaZe is really fucking everyone. That team just gets better with time. Twistzz, ropz all of them activate with multiple 2v5s, 1v4s,1v4s Better for G2 to stop them before final

Your flair doesn't give me much hope for humanity. Also it kinda depends on the FaZe we see. It's either Kato 2022 FaZe or Rio 2022 FaZe. If the latter, oh dear.

EU (Europe, not the European Union) have won more majors than any other region. Your flag is part of Europe. So you're saying that about your own flag too

they actually practiced with Rain during Blast as well, Es3tag was just watching rain do the practice with FaZe so basically Rain only missed a few matches but didnt miss practice sessions. He should be up to speed as much as teams who didnt attend blast.
