Team list set for China, Asia, Oceania Paris Major RMR closed qualifiers

The three online tournaments will offer two spots each for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Asia RMR.

The BLAST.tv Paris Major open qualifiers for China, Asia, and Oceania have concluded, with four teams from each qualifier advancing to their respective region's closed qualifiers.

Those eight-team tournaments will run from February 17-19 and each have two spots for the upcoming RMR in Mongolia up for grabs. The Middle East closed qualifier, which will award the final two berths to the Major-qualifying LAN event, is scheduled to play out on February 24-26.

Summer's TYLOO will look to earn a BLAST.tv Paris Major Asia RMR berth

Lord Rabbit enjoyed the most success in the China open qualifier. The quintet moved past Newhappy in the best-of-three qualification series, took down ParisDemons in the semi-final, and were gifted a forfeit win in the grand final after Take me away suffered a power outage.

TYLOO notably didn't rank high enough to receive an invite to the Chinese closed qualifier stage and instead had to fight through the notoriously difficult open qualifier bracket. The YuLun "Summer" Cai-led roster got the better of CR in the quarter-final to book their place in the closed qualifier, but ultimately had to settle for a third-place finish following a 14-16 defeat to Take me away in the semi-final.

The Asia open qualifier, on the other hand, was dominated by Mongolian and Russian teams. Kintsugi was the only squad that needed a three-map series to earn their qualification, with ILIN, Vladivostok, and Renewal all advancing to the closed qualifier following 2-0 sweeps of their opponents.

The four teams will now progress to the Asia closed qualifier, where IHC, the continent's newly crowned titans, await. The Mongolian roster recently raised eyebrows by eliminating both Cloud9 and FURIA from IEM Katowice, and are undoubtedly the heavy favourites to make it to the Asia RMR in their home country.

Adam "cookie" Cook powered Antic to an Oceania closed qualifier appearance. The New Zealander put up a 1.65 rating in his team's best-of-three bout versus SWMG, enough to guarantee his squad a shot at making it to the RMR. Antic are joined by DeadWeight, KZG, and Majestic Foghorns, all of whom will fight against the likes of Grayhound and VERTEX to continue their Major-qualifying hopes.

Even the best valorant fe teams wouldn't stand a chance against a top 30 male team in valorant.

Yeah I wouldn't doubt it. There just aren't many women in most FPS games.

Personally I strongly strongly very strongly don't think that's the issue. There's plenty of women who do play fps titles. Atleast 1 , just 1 single woman should've been a top 250 player in a fps game. Like during their prime. That's yet to happen.

Yeah Quake has some T2 women in it that are p decent. I'd mention TF2 but I wouldn't call it much of an e-sport

Lmao tf2 if it was as popular as overwatch would easily be far better, more balanced , and higher skill ceiling, So frankly that's good too! :)
