Four teams round out North America RMR closed qualifier list

Noah "⁠Nifty⁠" Francis's 4ORMULA were among the teams who made it through the second open qualifier.

The second and final BLAST.tv Paris Major North America RMR open qualifier has come to a close. yur, REIGN, 4ORMULA, and Take Flyte have joined 12 other teams in the Swiss closed qualifier, where they'll play for seven spots at the Americas RMR from February 17-19.

One of the notable names now out of the running for a spot in Paris are Davenport University, who fell at the final hurdle at the hands of a team built around former Envy and Renegades player Nifty, 4ORMULA.

Nifty and company had faltered in the final round of the first open qualifier in a deciding match against Strife, but redeemed themselves in the second qualifier as they came back from a 10-15 deficit to clinch map two in overtime and their spot in the closed phase.

Meanwhile, yur handily beat Mystique for their spot, REIGN edged out the former Infinity core playing under the banner of Cartel terraza, and Take Flyte passed X13 in the final series.
