Relog Media organize new online tournament with $333,000 in prizes

Astralis, BIG and OG are among the first batch of confirmed teams set to compete in Brazy Party.

Relog Media is announcing a new tournament, Brazy Party — a portmanteau of brave and crazy —, which will take place online from April 26-May 3. It will start with four GSL groups of four teams each that will give way to a single-elimination playoff bracket populated with the top two teams from every group. All of the series throughout the tournament will be best-of-three.

BIG, known for their online prowess, have been invited to Brazy Party

One current top 10 team, OG, and three top 20 teams, Astralis, BIG and Eternal Fire, have been invited in the first batch of 10 teams that will compete in the online tournament. Two teams from outside of Europe have also been invited to participate so far, namely Brazil's Imperial and China's TYLOO.

The team list so far is:

The second set of teams that will compete in the online tournament in late April and early May will be announced after the BLAST.tv Paris Major RMRs.

The tournament's prize pool will be $333.000, with the following distribution:

1. $133,000
2. $70,000
3-4. $35,000
5-8. $15,000

The broadcast talent is yet to be confirmed, but Relog Media stated in their press release that "there will also be well known faces and voices in the CS:GO community as commentators and tournament analysts" on the English broadcast.

Cool
