CCT West Europe 2 playoffs set; BIG headline invite list

The $50,000 event moves into a single-elimination playoff bracket to determine the winner.

The playoff invites for CCT West Europe Series 2 event have been announced, with 16 teams set to fight for the $50,000 prize pool and points in the West Europe regional rankings. The first round of playoffs starts on Monday, March 20.

BIG, Monte, 500, and iNation are among the teams that will join the action directly from the round of 16. Joining them will be Copenhagen Flames, Sangal, Apeks, and GODSENT, who round out the eight playoff invites.

BIG return to the CCT circuit

The eight invited teams join another eight teams who advanced through the Swiss group stage. Into the Breach and previous CCT West Europe champions, Spirit Academy, have progressed undefeated through the group stage. The likes of HAVU, Endpoint, and LDLC have also secured their playoff appearances before EYEBALLERS, Nexus, and HEET completed the team list on the final day of group-stage play.

GODSENT and Spirit Academy will face off on Monday at 11:00 in the knockout stage's opening match, while the two highest-ranked squads of BIG and 500 have been put on the same side of the bracket and will face off against HAVU and Endpoint in their respective Ro16 matches.

hmm well it is two sized thing, thinking best result bit training and some t2.5 tournament. if you play only those three pressure comes guickly very big to survive trough.. and suddenly you dont have nothing to play if you fail. Like Havu in 22 after year 21 and top14 surely im not pro but thinking mental healt

9ine's coach nawrot has complained that they play too much officials lately and they don't have time for trainings. Also 9ine play this Relog Media's 333k tournament in April so low pressure event and you can earn a bit

Much needed event invites for big. I see a lot of potential in hyped but the recent showings were definitely disappointing by the whole team. I hope they can rebuild some confidence in these events
