BLAST.tv Paris Major Asia RMR viewer's guide
Only two teams will secure a spot in the upcoming Paris Major from the first RMR event.
The action from BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Asia RMR will go live between April 6-9 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia as eight teams from Asia and Oceania battle it out for just two spots in the Challengers stage of the last-ever CS:GO Major.
This RMR event will have a different format from the European and Americas editions as it will set the eight teams against each other in a double-elimination bracket instead of a Swiss-style group. The first two rounds in the upper bracket will be best-of-one matches, while the final and the elimination fixtures will be played as best-of-three series.

The list of teams participating at the RMR is as follows:
The opening match of the event will host the newly reformed TheMongolz against Twisted Minds as the Mongolian squad look to claim one of the two qualifying spots after an impressive start to 2023. Erdenedalai "maaRaa" Bayanbat's men previously represented the IHC banner, but have since decided to revive the historic tag after they left the organization ahead of the RMR event. The team also made headlines in previous weeks following their decision to part ways with Tengis "sk0R" Batjargal despite a good run of form at IEM Katowice and ESL Pro League Season 17, replacing the 20-year-old with Chinguun "hasteka" Bayarmaa.
Nikola "Lobanjica" Mijomanović's Twisted Minds qualified for the event by overcoming Ooredoo Thunders in a best-of-three series in the Asian closed qualifier, becoming the last team to secure a spot at the RMR. Ahmad "SpAwNnS" Kanaan and Shuaib "D0cC" Ahmad were among the best-performing players at the regional qualifier, with 1.27 and 1.24 ratings, respectively.

Rare Atom will line up against VERTEX after a respectable showing at ESL Pro League S17 from the Chinese squad. Andrew "kaze" Khong and company swept Liquid at the Maltese LAN and stole one map away from Natus Vincere in overtime, marking a surprisingly successful event for the organization. Meanwhile, VERTEX have been consistently the second-best team from the Oceanic region and able to beat anyone except Grayhound.
The Joshua "INS" Potter-led squad will face off against TYLOO, setting up one of the most exciting match-ups in the first round of play. Grayhound are currently the highest-ranked team from their region and have not lost a domestic match since VERTEX took them down in September 2022. They have also secured a few notable wins at EPL S17 over 00NATION and Ninjas in Pyjamas last month, but they were unable to qualify for the playoffs despite their upsets.
TYLOO come back to the RMR circuit after missing out on the previous cycle due to their elimination at the hands of Wings Up in the closed qualifier for the Road to Rio RMR. The Chinese organization was once the most stable Asian presence at the Majors, but has not qualified for a Valve-sponsored event since PGL Stockholm in 2021.

The last match of the opening round will be played by Eruption and Invictus International. The two teams are among the bottom three squads in terms of ranking, and both have achieved very little of note since their qualification to the Mongolian LAN.
