TheMongolz secure third consecutive Major appearance
The same two teams have qualified for three Majors in a row from the Asia RMR as TheMongolz join Grayhound in Paris.
TheMongolz have secured the second Asian spot in the BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage following a 2-0 win over Rare Atom in the consolidation final of the tournament.
TheMongolz have joined Grayhound as the first team who qualified from the Asia-Pacific region, as well as eight other teams from the now concluded Europe A RMR and two from the still ongoing Americas RMR, which is heading into the final day of play.

The updated list of teams qualified for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, taking place on May 8-21, looks as follows:
The Mongolians are set to make their third consecutive Major appearance in Paris after previously representing IHC in PGL Major Antwerp and IEM Rio Major in 2022.
Going into the current Major cycle, the team around Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren decided at the last minute to depart their former organization and donned the iconic TheMongolz tag.
Under the new name, TheMongolz went into the qualifier fresh off the swap of Tengis "sk0R" Batjargal for Chinguun "hasteka" Bayarmaa. The move came as a surprise to many following IHC's successes earlier in the year and created question marks surrounding the team's form heading into the RMR, in which they were about to play with the new player for the first time.
The team succeeded after four days of play as they beat Twisted Minds and Rare Atom twice en route to a spot at the Paris Major, only losing to Grayhound in their first attempt to qualify. hasteka averaged a middling 0.95 rating at the tournament.
