SAW bid farewell to JUST; add arrozdoce

The young rifler arrives from FTW to take the place of Tiago "⁠JUST⁠" Moura.

SAW have announced the addition of Rafael "⁠arrozdoce⁠" Wing, adding the 20-year-old to take the place of JUST. The change comes a week after the Portugese team crashed out of BLAST.tv Paris Major EU RMR A in last place following losses to Virtus.pro, MOUZ, and OG.

JUST was one of the roster's longest-tenured members, joining in January 2020 alongside Christopher "⁠MUTiRiS⁠" Fernandes and Ricardo "⁠roman⁠" Oliveira. He recorded a 1.06 rating while with the team and took part in a plethora of online competitions and a handful of LAN events, helping them win Elisa Invitational Fall 2022, ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe, and achieve runner-up finishes in REPUBLEAGUE Season 1 and DreamHack Open December 2020.

JUST is out of SAW as they bring in 20-year-old arrozdoce

"JUST played an essential role in virtually all key moments and, alongside us, achieved unprecedented feats and feats for esports in Portugal," the organization said in a statement. "With him, we reached the RMR, the Pro League and the world top 20 three times. We experienced the best of our times and overcame challenges that seemed impossible. We vibrated in each clutch, in each frag, in each game.

"Unfortunately, and by decision of the team together with the organization, the time has come to make changes to the CS:GO roster, so that we can continue to evolve and grow, keeping our focus on reaching the next level."

To fill JUST's spot, SAW have added arrozdoce on transfer from FTW. The 20-year-old has played for the Portuguese organization since June 2021, and has averaged a 1.00 rating while under their banner.

"The most recent warrior will certainly bring dynamism and great moments to the national scene and, as a team and organization, we have great expectations for the future and for all the goals that we have aligned for the near future," SAW said in a statement about their new addition.

SAW also changed their coach shortly after their tournament exit, bidding farewell to Omar "⁠arki⁠" Chakkor and appointing Daniel "⁠NABOWOW⁠" Brito as an interim skipper until the end of the season.

Its good the fact that Saw is increase the potential of the team with new changes, but at the same time they are killing the small portuguese scene. Since they took ''ewjerkz'' and ''story'' from FTW, they killed the 2nd best portuguese team and Saw still didn't reach the ''Major dream'' since those changes. ''Just'' never was the problem but they will understand someday. They need new ideias and personality aside Mutiris. Coachi (Young Sharks coach) or juve (ITB coach) are portuguese coaches with knowlegde and fire to make this team finally work, thats what they need. Lets see what the future holds for them.

Coachi does many things in Young Sharks (as far as i know, his one of the CEO's as well) and neither him or juve would trade there positions to help Saw, i know, im not blind or lunatic. Im just saying my opinion about what the team needs, right or wrong, its only a opinion. The fact that i mentioned portuguese coaches its because the communication barrier, of course the team would rather communicate in portuguse, its obvious bruh... wth... And of course i understand MUCH better the portuguese scene than you, ''Just'' was the hard carry of this team for MONTHS and constently the best player, the best portuguse player by far, and no one was expecting this, thats why no one understand this switch. Coachi is sharks coach and if i were them i would let him stay forever coz he made them a lot of money by developing Young talents that were sold latter. For this reason he will not join saw. Best pt coach by far. All i know about juve is that he Rage quit a MM against me after loosing idk how many rotunds, called us bots and asked if we know who he is, then he left. Not a good presentation he made and if he is this tilted at a f MM imagine as a coach.

He was by far their best player until the changes last summer where he changed some positions. Maybe part of 2020 stadodo was the one with better numbers, but it is not even debatable that he was undoubtedly their best player most of the time he was in the team. True, but we are talking of 2 environments with diffent budgets. While in football some 2nd league or even 3rd tier teams are able to do that, the only orgs capable of doing that are prob saw and maybe ftw. Not to mention the fact that is way more "acceptable" for a father/mother to let his teenage son leave home to try his luck in football than to chase a professional gamer career. Harsh move but I like to think the team knows better. Just was by far the most consistent player on the team, and to kick him instead of rmn who is struggling or story who has 1 positive game every 10 was surprising, but then again, no decent pt awper anyway. Movistar Riders: - Dav1g + JUST And they will become top 15 easy. Orgs are crazy not to sign JUST as a free agent, the guy is insane. The only problem is his availability to play abroad, since he has become a father recently. In the other hand, for Saw something had to change... The ones who know better are those who make part of the org. In my opinion (who doesn't count at all) roman would never been replaced as he is Mut right arm since forever and story and ewjerkz just need more time to adapt to LAN environment, since they're little monsters in process. Hope this move goes well, same for JUSTINO's future.
