Eternal Fire bench imoRR
The Turkish team's roster shuffle continues after Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç was also sidelined back in April.
Eternal Fire have announced that Ömer "imoRR" Karataş is no longer on the team's active roster and has instead transitioned to a content creator role within the organization.

The move marks the team's second roster change in as many weeks as the Turkish roster placed xfl0ud on the bench on April 24, with the squad playing with academy player Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın in the interim.

imoRR was the longest-standing member of Eternal Fire, representing the organization uninterrupted ever since the brand's founding in August 2021. The Turk was consistently one of the team's highest-rated players in that time, ending his two-year tenure with a 1.07 rating to his name — only Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş from the team's current roster sports better numbers (1.26).
Despite imoRR's solid performances, the team as a whole struggled to post meaningful results on the board, with their best showing being a LAN victory at the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals in February, where they defeated Bad News Eagles in the grand final to earn a spot at the CCT Global Finals in 2024.
Alas, this first-place finish in Malta did little to inspire a run of good form from the Turkish troupe. A 17-20th place finish at ESL Pro League Season 17 not long after gave way to an unsuccessful run through the BLAST.tv Paris Major RMR, forcing the squad to undergo changes as they get ready to watch CS:GO's last-ever Valve-sponsored event from the sidelines.
Eternal Fire have just over a fortnight to get their roster woes in order. The team have accepted an invite to the BetBoom Playlist Freedom Play-In stage, where they will aim to make the playoffs of the $150,000 online competition.
"Our valuable team member Ömer "imoRR" Karataş will no longer be a part of our active roster as of today," the organization said in their announcement tweet.
"We would like to thank him for everything he has contributed to us with his determination, persistence, and hard work since the establishment of Eternal Fire, and for all the great moments he has shared with us."
Eternal Fire now have the following roster:
Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş
Buğra "Calyx" Arkın
Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli
Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın (stand-in)
Sezgin "Fabre" Kalaycı (coach)
