TheMongolz replace Bart4k and Annihilation
The Mongolian squad have now revamped most of the lineup over the past few months.
TheMongolz have announced that Tuvshintugs "Annihilation" Nyamdorj and Baatarkhuu "Bart4k" Batbold have left the team, to be replaced by Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch and Ayush "mzinho" Batbold. The news comes not long after the squad finished fourth in ESL Challenger League Asia-Pacific.
The announcement, which was released via TheMongolz’s Facebook page, gave no detail as to the reasoning behind the moves, merely listing the new roster under the title "roster update."

TheMongolz burst onto the international scene as IHC in 2022 by qualifying for the PGL Major Antwerp and since have proven their pedigree as a dangerous opponent in international tournaments, eliminating Cloud9 from IEM Katowice earlier this year. Recent results have hinted at stagnation however, as they crashed out of IEM Rio having only beaten Imperial and exited the BLAST Paris Major with a single map win to their name.
Bart4k and Annihilation have found themselves ousted from the roster amidst the recent shaky form, the former having come into the lineup late last year as Bat-Enkh "kabal" Batbayar took time off after becoming a father, and the latter having been signed mid-way through 2022. Bart4k was consistently the worst-rated player on the squad during his short tenure, whilst Annihilation was an inconsistent AWPer, despite being fairly proficient in clutch situations.
Incoming AWPer 910 arrives from Clutch, where he was comfortably the best player on the team in 2023 and previously played alongside Chinguun "hasteka" Bayarmaa, who joined TheMongolz earlier this year. mzinho is a 15-year-old rifler who has no recent HLTV match history to speak of, but played for several Mongolian lineups in 2022, such as The Shine.
TheMongolz are now:
Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren
Chinguun "hasteka" Bayarmaa
Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold
Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch
Ayush "mzinho" Batbold
Erdenedalai "maaRaa" Bayanbat (coach)
