FURIA co-CEO on roster rumors: "Nothing is defined"
André Akkari spoke to Dust2.com.br in response to whispers placing Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo at the top of FURIA's off-season shopping list.
FURIA's future lineup is still not decided and there is the potential for change, according to André Akkari, the organization's co-CEO, in a comment to Dust2 Brazil.
Akkari's statement comes amid recent rumors of roster changes within the FURIA camp. Brazilian insider, Giovanni "gio" Deniz, claimed on June 2 that FalleN had reached a pre-agreement with the team, and that Fernando "fer" Alvarenga could also be making a move to the organization.

"The season is over now, [the] first part of the year is over. The debates are intense, all possibilities [are being discussed]," Akkari began in his comment to Dust2 Brazil. "They include several options; keep someone, not keep anyone, bring new players. There are a thousand opportunities.
"If I tell you that there is a decision, I am lying, [there is] nothing defined. We have some conversations scheduled with the internal team, people who are with us, we have more conversations with opportunities, possibilities," the CEO continued. "They will happen now, in the next 20 days, so that we can make a decision later."
Potential changes in FURIA's starting lineup won't come as much of a surprise. The Brazilian troupe have been struggling in the server recently, failing to reach the business end at the majority of events they've attended in 2023.
The Brazilian side bowed out of the BLAST.tv Paris Major Legends Stage in joint-last place after putting up a dire 0-3 record and they fell in the group stage of IEM Dallas in their most recent outing. A win over the much smaller Nouns was their only positive takeaway from the event in Texas.
Outside of this, FURIA have been under the spotlight for their uninspiring T-side efforts, something Andrei "arT" Piovezan, the team's in-game leader, spoke about in an interview with HLTV at IEM Dallas.

The Brazilians won just eight Terrorist rounds during the four maps played in Paris and their recent campaign in Dallas gave way to just 19 T-side round wins over five maps. With FalleN reportedly on FURIA's shopping list, it's possible that the squad aim to switch up the tactical side of their game over the off-season in time for Counter-Strike 2's release later in the summer.
FURIA's current roster is:
Yuri "yuurih" Santos
Andrei "arT" Piovezan
Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
André "drop" Abreu
Rafael "saffee" Costa
Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira (coach)
