BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 teams, schedule, prizes
The last Big Event before summer break is set to start as BLAST Premier Spring Final goes live on Wednesday.
The CS:GO troupe will return to the United States for the second time in less than a week as BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 brings the action to Washington, D.C., between June 7-11. The event will conclude the tournament organizer's season, with the best teams from Spring Groups and the Showdown looking to claim the lion's share of a $425,000 prize pool and a spot at BLAST Premier World Final 2023.
Vitality, Heroic, and FaZe will headline the list of teams attending the competition. Other top sides such as Cloud9 and G2 will be looking to join the brawl and fight for the last Big Event trophy before the summer tournament break.

Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and company will take the stage for the first time since their victory at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, which they won without dropping a single map to replicate a feat only achieved by Natus Vincere at PGL Stockholm 2021. The whole team found new heights in the French capital, and while Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was crowned the event's MVP, every Vitality member had moments of brilliance during their run. They now come into BLAST Spring Final as the highest-ranked team in the world and favorites to take the trophy home.
Vitality will line up against Imperial to kickstart the event, the lowest-ranked quintet at the tournament, who qualified thanks to a solid run through the North American Spring Showdown with victories over Complexity, EG Black, and paiN. This event could be the last for this iteration of Imperial as speculation over Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's rumored move to FURIA is rampant.
The second match in Group A will see G2 take on Cloud9 following an underwhelming run at IEM Dallas for both teams. Their Major cycle performances were nothing to brag about either, with Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen's team eliminated from the Legends Stage after a 1-3 run while the Russians squad did not even qualify for BLAST Paris. This will be the last chance for both teams to close the season on a positive note ahead of a break that could see both lineups drastically change.

Heroic are currently ranked as the No. 2 team in the world, but their recent results have shown several cracks in the Danish war machine. Semi-final exits at the hands of heavy underdogs at both the Paris Major and IEM Dallas have left Casper "cadiaN" Møller's men disoriented after a six-month period in which they were considered one of the best teams in the world, if not the best. This will be their last chance to claim silverware before the off-season and if they are not able to quickly turn a new page, they might go home empty-handed once again.
The Danes will face off against Complexity in their first match at the tournament, with Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's team coming in to replace Natus Vincere following the Ukrainian squad's retirement from the event due to visa issues. The North American team faced immigration problems of their own as Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli was forced to miss out on another American event, and will be replaced once again by Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek.

FaZe vs. Astralis will be the second match in Group B and it's set to be a spicy one. Finn "karrigan" Andersen and company come fresh off a relatively successful campaign at IEM Dallas, in which they barely missed out on a spot in the grand final following a spectacular match against eventual winners ENCE. The Danish squad also impressed in Texas with a few highlight performances from star AWPer Nicolai "device" Reedtz, although they suffered losses at the hands of both of the tournament's finalists, ENCE and MOUZ.
