Media: electroNic, Perfecto in Cloud9's crosshairs
The duo could make the jump to the Russian team ahead of the fall season.

Cloud9 would be looking to strike a deal with Natus Vincere for Denis "electroNic" Sharipov and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy, according to a report from Dexerto.
It had previously been reported that Natus Vincere are in the process of going international after the summer break with players like Mihai "iM" Ivan, Justinas "jL" Lekavicius and Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen on the shortlist, which would leave room for the likes of electroNic and Perfecto to move after Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi was reportedly benched.

The report does not indicate directly how this will affect Cloud9, although it mentions a tweet from harumi of the possibility of it being in place of Kazakh duo Timur "buster" Tulepov and Abay "HObbit" Khassenov, which could help boost a team that showed much promise but has largely failed to make a dent amongst the top of the top, going so far as to miss out on the last CS:GO Major.
electroNic's possible move raises the question of leadership, as he turned to it when Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov was benched from NAVI in the summer of 2022. The four-time top 10 player in the world's stats dipped since taking the new job but he still remains a strong individual performer while calling, well above average for an IGL with a 1.11 rating so far in 2023.
