zonic to miss Gamers8
Vitality's analyst, Mathieu "MaT" Leber, will stand behind the team at the Saudi Arabian event instead.

Vitality's coach, Danny "zonic" Sørensen, will not be present with the team at the upcoming Gamers8 tournament due to personal circumstances, the organization has announced.
The announcement came just a little over a day before the kick-off of the $1 million tournament taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will be played in a single-elimination format from August 16-20 and has pitted Vitality up against MIBR in the round of 16 on Wednesday.

Vitality will be one of the favorites of the ruthless tournament, sitting at No. 2 in the world according to the HLTV ranking as one of the most consistent and successful teams of the year.
The European squad will eye the trophy in their third tournament following the addition of Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, who replaced Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen on the roster during the summer break. Vitality previously traversed the BLAST Premier Fall Groups to qualify for the Fall Final and made it to the semi-finals of IEM Cologne, where they were eliminated by ENCE.
Missing the veteran coach could be a significant roadblock on Vitality's quest after the title, though, combined with the fact that their in-game leader, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, has yet to arrive in Riyadh after encountering travel issues.
