TheMongolz qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown
The Mongolian squad will slot into the Americas/rest of the world bracket at the BLAST Premier qualifier.

TheMongolz won the 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall qualifier and will play for a spot at the BLAST Premier Fall Final in the tournament's notoriously cut-throat qualifier, the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
The top Asian side completed the feat just days after failing to qualify for IEM Sydney when they lost to both 5yclone and Lynn Vision in the tournament's Asian qualifier. Their only loss this time around came to 5yclone, once again, in the group stage, but the initial blunder was mended in the playoffs.
It wasn't an easy run for the squad led by Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren, who had to make it past their ATOX country-men in the first round of the four-team playoff. They lost the opening map in the series and then went on to close it out with back-to-back overtime victories.
In the grand final, where they took revenge on 5yclone, TheMongolz stole their Chinese rival's pick, Inferno, in 30 rounds, before sweeping the floor on Overpass, 16-3.

Interestingly, none of TheMongolz's players were among the highest rated, but bLitz, Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold and Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch all ended the online event with over 1.10 ratings.
The 16-team BLAST Premier Fall Final qualifier will be played on October 4-8, split into two eight-team brackets, and the winners of each one will earn a spot at the main event.
Luckily for the Mongolians, they will dodge the likes of G2 and Liquid, who will be seeded in the European playoff, and will instead play teams from the rest of the world — mainly the Americas.
