TheMongolz add Senzu

The 17-year-old joins the squad as a replacement for Chinguun "hasteka" Bayarmaa.

Senzu joins TheMongolz after five months on NKT's bench

TheMongolz have announced the addition of Munkhbold "Senzu" Azbayar to their starting roster. The 17-year-old joins the team after spending five months on NKT's bench and will also act as a replacement for hasteka, who parted ways with the organization on September 4.

TheMongolz part ways with hasteka

Senzu's signing also marks his second stint playing under the TheMongolz banner. He was a part of the organization's former roster from June to October 2022, but he now joins the revamped side led by Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren that briefly turned heads internationally.

Senzu's addition to the Mongolian squad doesn't come without controversy, however. The youngster was previously involved in a scandal whilst a part of NKT, when he defrauded his teammates and the organization's management by borrowing their in-game skins before gambling them away without permission.

Senzu eventually confessed to his actions and was subsequently transfer-listed by the organization back in April while they sought to "resolve the matter." The Mongolian rifler was barred from playing any tournaments under the NKT banner and ended up spending five months on the bench before being signed by TheMongolz.

Regardless, TheMongolz will be hoping that the addition of Senzu, who averaged a 1.03 rating over 40 maps during his time with NKT, will be enough to help the squad return to their previous heights.

TheMongolz regularly raised eyebrows with noticeable runs at international events, such as a 9-12th place finish at IEM Katowice while playing under IHC, but have struggled to replicate that form of late. They notably missed out on making the CS:GO Asia Championships and failed to earn a place at ESL Pro League Season 18.

TheMongolz now have the following roster:

Mongolia Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren
Mongolia Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold
Mongolia Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch
Mongolia Ayush "mzinho" Batbold
Mongolia Munkhbold "Senzu" Azbayar

Mongolia Erdenedalai "maaRaa" Bayanbat (coach)

U may not understand what happened between sk0R and his former IHC teammates I guess. sk0R's strong firepower and outstanding individual skills, but I can tell u Mongolian Godfather 'blitz' will probably Not let sk0R back to TheMongolz. It's said that the reason why sk0R was kicked is his personality issues. I still hope sk0R can be back to Mongolz

in this case tho, it was really needed. If you've been watching their matches, alot of their problems is due to hasteka. He can't perform and round losses are often because of him. He basically cost TheMongolz not only Sydney qualification, but especially cost them the Asia Championships qualification cause he choked a 1v1 against a USP on Nuke which proceeds to cost them the series cause they lost 14-16 when it was like 14-10 for them.

Then I have questions to those guys when they signed him. I bet the scene there is really small and those people play against each other quite often to know how people play. TECHNO ON HASTEKA: "PEOPLE DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD HE IS"

I think they needed more changes tbh., hasteka was honestly really bad and he was not even close to EU level of play, Senzu will add them some firepower, but I still don't think it's enough to be competitive in EU really, I think more changes are needed.

their firepower is fine. But heavily dependent on the map. Like techno is like a god father in inferno but shuts off completely on others. Also, they tend to dry peek/shift peek a lot, which surprises EU teams and caught them off guard but doesn't work well against Asian teams.

Technically they don't have a bad player, but like, who is supposed to be the star of this team? Only bLitz seems capable to do that consistently, but like, he is the IGL, how much can you really expect of him? That's my problem, there is no real star player, and I doubt Senzu will be that, they need more consistenly good fragging players in my opinion. And about the slow peek fact, it's surprised EU teams, but it's likely not going to surprise them in the future, they should be prepared for that, so overall I think it's kinda dire spot for the Mongolz.

I don't think it's not necessary to hold grudges over the scandal. CSGO is a slot machine with side quest matchmaking. It produces gambling addicts and shouldn't be played by people under the age of 18. He made a mistake, I hope he learnt from it and won't gamble again. He's just a stupid kid, forgive and forget.
