Playzone pick up Crystal

Playzone Gaming have announced the acquisition of Swedish sensation Crystal.

The Swedish team was a big hit at the IOL Finals two weeks ago in Stockholm, when they reached the last stage of the competition after moving past Begrip, even taking the final match against SK Gaming to a third map.

"We are very happy that we have the chance to play for PlayZone," Jon "hyvlarn" Edelsvärd told the team's website. "We had some offers to consider, but in the end it was an easy choice.

"Playzone were the strongest organisation we could find. It is an organisation with very experienced staff that we have great respect for because they have had many teams at various levels for several years now. We are confident they can support us not only economically but also morally. This support will be crucial in our development as a team."

The roster is, however, slightly different from the one that graced the IOL stage, as Dennis "dennis" Edman has assumed the role of Erik "marvel" Janbell in the team. 

This is the second news in the matter of days for Playzone, following the announcement of Atte "VIDI" Hyväkkä's addition to the organisation's Finnish team.
