NIP to replace Liquid at CAC 2023
The Swedish-majority side will travel to Shanghai in November.

Perfect World, the CS:GO Asia Championships 2023 event organizer, has announced that Liquid are dropping out of their event in Shanghai, China, on November 8-12.
The European-American team has fallen out of the roster due to visa issues and it will be Ninjas in Pyjamas who will fill their spot in the eight-team tournament.
The tournament, although named CS:GO Asia Championships, could be played on CS2 if the game is ready in time, as the event may act as a dry run for the second Major of 2024.

Ninjas in Pyjamas will join several top 10 teams in China, namely ENCE, G2, Astralis, FaZe and MOUZ, as well as two local sides, 5yclone and Lynn Vision.
Ninjas fans will have something to look forward to after their team's poor showing at ESL Pro League, where they went 1-3 in the triple-elimination bracket and thus did not earn a playoff berth.
