Liquid send Lynn Vision to last chance bracket

Liquid made easy work of their Chinese rivals in the EPL Group D lower bracket.

Aleks "⁠Rainwaker⁠" Petrov and Robert "⁠Patsi⁠" Isyanov went above and beyond in Liquid's 2-0 victory over Lynn Vision, posting 1.57 and 1.48 ratings, respectively.

This victory keeps Liquid in the ESL Pro League Season 18 Group D lower bracket, while Lynn Vision now have only one of three lives left in the triple-elimination group stage.

Josh "⁠oSee⁠" Ohm downed three with dualies in the opening round of the series to get Liquid off to a positive start. Lynn Vision failed to make the best of the attack on Anubis, a highly important side on the map, and were even behind at the half after Keith "⁠NAF⁠" Markovic downed three to keep his team ahead, 8-7.

Jumping into the T side Liquid posted a dominating 8-2 to close it out 16-9, setting themselves up to take the series on their chosen map.

Up against the possibility of going out 0-2, Lynn Vision started off on the right foot on Ancient, winning the first pistol round on the CT side. Hope didn't last, however, as they lost against a second-round forcebuy off the back of a Patsi Galil triple.

A 10-5 half in Liquid's favor all but defense in first gun round, but quickly deflated as Liquid became a dominant force on the attack going on to a 10-5 half.

Once again Liquid didn't hold back and on the CT side of Ancient won six of seven rounds to seal the deal 16-6 and end the series 2-0. They will now play the loser of Cloud9 vs. Complexity in the middle bracket, while Lynn Vision will play for survival against the loser of 9INE vs. Eternal Fire.
