ESL Pro League playoffs bracket set
FURIA vs. MOUZ headlines Round of 16 of the single elimination bracket.

Four weeks of group stage action at ESL Pro League has concluded and the 16 playoff participants now know the path they must take to fight for the trophy.
The four teams that topped their group with a 3-0 record — Vitality, Natus Vincere, ENCE and G2 — skip straight to the quarter-finals, and only need three more wins to become champions.
The losers of the upper bracket finals start one stage back in the round of 12, where the likes of BIG, Complexity and Movistar Riders will look to continue their underdog runs after strong group stage form.
In the round of 16, fnatic and Monte are just two ranks apart, while 9z will face Virtus.pro in a repeat of the FiReLEAGUE Battle show match. Meanwhile, Group D upstarts Eternal Fire will have to upset the odds once more against #5-ranked Astralis.

These opening matches should provide stern tests for each side, though an upset-heavy group stage means a slight lack of heavyweight clashes from the get-go.
The earliest chance for that sort of affair will be in the lower of the four brackets, where FURIA and MOUZ will fight off in a non-Gamers8 playoff debut for the two new rosters.
The reward for the victor of that bout is a chance to face FaZe, before the winner of that game faces G2 in the quarter-finals.
